I like it when a band is able to create a certain Mood regardless of how technical the music is, otherwise it's just showing off the band's musical skills, wich is utterly boring if you ask me. For example, bands like Immolation or Hate Eternal are very technical, yet capable of maintaining a dark and furious atmosphere.
