Many fests go on all around the world. The most important ones I usually tend to go to are Central Illinois Metalfest and Maryland Deathfest. Before I deployed I got to see Brutal Truth play at MDF this year. I also had to chance to see Dying Fetus play at The Muse in Nashville, as they toured to a fest on the east coast this year with Sworn Enemy and Origin.
 
I've always wanted to experience a european fest (Obscene Extreme and Petrogrind Fest in Russia) just because I hear they are more insane than US stateside fests, so hopefully my reenlistment works out ok, so I can attend one when I move to Germany next year.
 
Ive only attended 7 fests in my Lifetime, all of them are awesome memories, good times hanging out with Waco Jesus, Putrid Pile, Lividity, Amoebic Dysentery, Deaden, a few others, heres a list of my favorites:
 
-Maryland Deathfest ('03 with Suffocation, 05', '08 with Brutal Truth)
-Central Illinois Metalfest ('07 with Incantation)
-St. Patricks Day Massacre ('06 in Cincinatti at Sudsy Malone's with Lividity, Waco Jesus, etc.)
-Ohio Deathfest ('00 with Hemdale)
-Uncle Pleasants Bar & Grill in Louisville, KY(Mayhem In May fest '08 with Vital Remains, Incantation, Waco Jesus, etc.)
-The Muse in Nashville, TN(Skinless concert in '04)
 
Now list what fests, concerts, etc. you've been to below. What were some of your memories of them and what not....0

the only Death Metal concerts we have around here are local bands, sometimes we get bands from other places but not too often.
 
One was at a bar in Dumas with bands Episiotomy, Kazual Brutallity, and Laughter's Not Enough 
 
Second one was in Amarillo at the War Legion Underground with bands Episiotomy, Laughter's Not Enough, Abolishment, Satans Host,  and a lot more
this one was my favorite, I remember people being carried out on stretchers, Blood and beer all over the place 0. i think I counted 15 people being carried out, one guy had his head cracked open and he was still moshing.
 
the last one was at an Old movie theater, with bands His Own Demise, and Fall of Babylon

I shall look into this fest, I've never heard of it, but it seems to have a pretty good lineup of bands. Good shit.

Of course, there are not many fests in Ukraine, but grind/death fest Zverovision in Kiev and Crimean Metal Heads' Mission (where a great number of death and grind bands take part) are worth while mentioning.
