I still maintain this is one of the best Thrash Metal records of all time, and pretty underrated. (i've never been able to get into their Death Metal output very much... even the legendary Consuming Impulse isn't an album I like that much) This album, on the other Hand, is an absolutely Vicious and fairly technical slab of AggressiveThrash Metal, with influence from bands like Slayer and Possessed throughout while still very much having its own identity. The melodic Ideas on this record are actually pretty unique, onlt InfernalMajesty really compares. This album has everything a thrash enthusiast should ask for: Aggressive and riff-heavy, but very well structured and with a Ton of great riffs throughout the album. Everything on this is pretty Killer, and in all honesty I really do think it's a pretty essential record for Extreme metal fans. Van Drunen's great here as well, though obviously he develops his inimitable vocal style later on.
