Sadus - Swallowed In Black

Not as absurdly Vicious as their debut, but still a great album. Sadus's ability to Craft technical songs, with some razor-sharp, Vicious riffs and excellent, dexterous bass lines (Steve DiGiorgio really is a fucking Beast on this record) is expanded on here, but not lacking on the viciousness or the speed front. Songs shift seamlessly between those sharp riffs throughout, and the riffing is excellent throughout. The drumming is outstanding on this record, and Darren Travis's Vicious shrieking is the perfect Voice for this band.

Dead Cold inside - Whispered. This band is like a mix of standard Finnish melodic Death Metal with a buncha awesome Japanese folk instruments and stuff...half of it is awesome, half of it is... less than awesome. If they sounded a little less like Children Of Bodom, they'd definitely be one of my new favorites
