This is very difficult for me, but I think Voivod and Coroner are my favorite0 .

Thought I'd condense my older list and give reasons.

Mekong Delta - They take on a proggy sound in thrash and it is awesome. Their riffs, while awesome, are also very technical. The bass is loud (yay) and give a thicker sound.

Sodom - My favourite out of the Big 3 thrash bands of Germany. I love all of their albums. Riffs galore and amazing vocals.

Melechesh - Unique thrash. Middle Eastern melodies turned into thrash riffs? Fuck yeah! And these riffs are catchy as hell? Even better!

Yyrkoon - Melody, groove, technical structure and atmosphere. This has it all.

Slayer - Only the old stuff. Seasons in The Abyss is my favourite.

I am not looking forward to either of these. I Hate it when forgotten legends reform and release albums that shit on their legacy. Blind Illusion already did that with Demon Master...

Also, just gonna trow out there that Artillery rules. Superb, intricate riff-craft, some of the finest riffs in the genre, and a vocalist that doesn't suck. I'm turned off by a lot of thrash because it seems some bands just pick a Random dude of the street and have him shout their vocals without rehearsal, but Artillery actually has a singer with a more melodic edge that doesn't take away any of the original ferocity.

Hell yeah, Artillery is awesome. By Inheritance is a classic thrash album.

Nocturnal.
