At graspop its in environment unfriendly plastic glasses, without refund. It's indeed cheaper to bring beer but... most festivals refuse to take your drinks to the venue. However I went last summer to a small local festival with beer of only 1,5 euros per glass (and recycle is allowed)

Wacken would be a dream for me.

My annual festival of choice is, Bloodstock Open Air, in the UK. No Core there, just pure Power / Thrash / Death / Black / Symphonic / Melodic genres. It's a young and growing festival. Tickets are £110, I don't know how much that is in Euros.

Pff, lemme calc for a sec... something of 140 euros, quite reasonable price for 3 days + the guarantee of no cores makes up it's money.

Nah...the glasses at wacken were plastic, therefore unfriendly with the environment, but they had really cool designs, so people simply bought them. Even I have 3 glasses from there:

The guys at Sonisphere (since it was powered by Tuborg) had some decent beer prices compared to others, like 1,25 euro and they did a pretty smart thing : a free beer for those who bring 10 empty glasses - you could basically drink for free if you gathered the stuff from the ground.

Yeah, we did, but we took the rest of them back, since you got 1 euro back for each one. I saved The One with the cow and the Wacken human-cow-metalhed statistics  though 0. They are pretty handy when camping ^^
