9/19/09: Dancing
Dragon Tattoo Shop in Oak Grove, KY, USA. If you like my tattoos, ask for Jessie. He is the guy who did the logo for me. $300.00.
A photocopy of the Spirit of Metal logo taken from Walgreens.
A copied black & white version of the logo.
Jessie' artwork after
The Black & white photocopy.
A couple of practice artworks before the final selection of what he would do.
Preparing to stick the traced purple lined sheet over my wrist so he can tattoo that proper area...
Voila! I'm satisfied, now Jessie can prepare his guns and needles now...
Getting out the needles and fitting them into the machines seeing what kind of liner and shaders he'll need as he sets the SoM logo he did on his lap...
His 3 machines (1 machine has the liner grip, 2 machines with shaders for the black and gray filler).
Figured I take this to show off a circular Dancing Dragon Tattoo shop logo sticker for you guys...
Starting up the proper lighting...
Jessie beginning the tat project!
Taking a 2 minute break so I could take this photo of what he did so far....
Almost done with the liner ink job...
10 minute break after spending 1 and a half hours laying down the liner ink... Lower back in pain and arm all numb... ugh
Raising my horns in the mirror showing off after the liner ink...
In the middle of getting shaded...
Finally, after 3 hours of tattooing with meticulous Jessie!

my art project is done for the night...
In a far distance in the mirror. Cant really tell what it says yet, I have to come back in a couple weeks he says to get it touched up with gray and white to bring out the letters more so when I raise my horns, people can tell what it says. He won't charge me for touchups though, so in the meantime, he'll keep the logo and picture to remember me when I come back in. I told him to visit Spirit of Metal while he gave me the proper santitizing lotion to rub on and a magnet of Dancing Dragon Tattoos. Please visit their site if you like the above work!
