ANOTHER MARK IS DRAWN is the Mastermind of Primary Slave singer-song writer and guitarist, Mark Giltrow, who spent the last two-years of his life perfecting and recording this labour of love.

Sadly, he never lived to see the completed album. Mark died unexpectedly in 2006 in a motorcycle Accident, leaving behind an unfinished symphony of Killer songs, fierce melodies, ripping guitars and gravity-defying vocals. He was just 31-years-old.

The Ghost in The Machine was an eternal fixture, The Law of sod was maximised. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong and then some.
From the bitterest of tears the sweetest nectar is created.

Primary Slave is a band that has been through some turbulent times culminating in the tragically early death of the Singer and guitarist Mark Giltrow.

Marks death occurred when they had about ninety percent completed the recordings for Primary Slave 2. (Another Mark is drawn).

There was plenty of background weirdness even before the Disaster struck.
Band line up changes as some left and some joined, plenty of mix-ups with industry personnel and Endless equipment failures.

It was a decision made by all those still involved with Mark and Primary Slave after his death to do the best they could with the jigsaw puzzle they had been left
The End result is a stunning album, a Legacy of melody and Rage, a fine Balance between the complex and the brutal!

Financed completely by Marks FRIENDS AND FAMILY, grabbing cheap or free studio time where and whenever possible, there is a sense that much time has been donated on every part to try and maximise its impact.

From the rip your faces off riffs of the first track Powdered, the second track, Defiled, with its melodic and almost laid back sound almost lulls you into false sense of middle of the Road, then the monstrous wah guitar kicks in just to remind you this is Primary Slave......
