I have to say that my favorite ambience band is GOD Is an Astronaut. They're a 3 piece ambience band from Ireland, and they have some pretty good stuff. Also, a good folk album is Marras by October Falls. I guess, I would have to say my genra of choice is whatever catches my ear, which is a very broad spectrum.

Mostly industrial once in a while (depending on the Mood) than it can be any stuff existing on Earth, again, depending on the moment.

Likewise, in a way. I tend to listen to almost any kind of metal music, but when I need something different, I go for movie soundtracks or entire pieces of instrumentals composed for this or that videogame... Some animes have great soundtracks too, so you can count me in this one.

mine will be totally different genre altogether when i am not listening to metal...i will be listening to old school R&B and Old school Rock and Roll...may be a little bit of instrumental jazz and blues here and there
