On Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20, 2025, Hall of Fame in Tilburg will open its gates for the first edition of Nox Occultum: a new festival devoted to celebrating Black Metal in all its forms. Expect a day drenched in immersive atmospheres, searing riffs, and ritualistic intensity – with a line-up that unites legendary icons and fierce newcomers. 

Carrying the banner “a celebration of darkened soundscapes”, Nox Occultum presents a carefully curated selection of artists representing both the roots and the future of the genre. From iconic names to obscure, uncompromising newcomers, the festival promises exclusive performances, raw energy, ritualistic power, and an atmosphere that will leave no soul untouched. 

The Warm-Up Party takes place on Friday, September 19, 2025. This night features performances by Messor Falce, Witchfukker, Dodenkrocht, and Dikasterion, followed by an afterparty hosted by CelticVenom. All holders of a Saturday ticket can attend the warm-up party free of charge. 

On Saturday, the stage will be taken over by the legendary Hungarian Black Metal pioneers Tormentor, the first-ever Dutch performance of the UK’s Necrowretch, and the rare live ritual of Norway’s Misotheist, alongside many other acts. This inaugural edition promises to write a black-magical chapter that will leave deep marks on all who dare to enter. 

Nox Occultum is not for the faint of heart. This is an ode to extremity – a nocturnal gathering for those who find solace in the shadows.
