As I said these guys were genius but I don't like classical music . In this moment the band that makes me fly away is Moonsorrow . Highly-talented musicians with a great sense of melody  . The lyrics are in finn but it slip in harmony with the music . If you don't know them , go quickly listen to their albums !

music because if i care for the lyrics i will not listen to beautiful songs from NSBM bands propagating hate messages and other of my favorite songs where the lyrics are so poors and without meaning...

oh yeah0 but imagine a song with those 2 components,united tight in perfect harmony..."u may say i'm a dreamer,but i'm not the only one..."0

I wanna add somethin' to my previous answers, but in the same context, so both music & lyrics are important! i think, there's lyrics who made music perfect & at the same time there's music who make lyrics perfect too.& as u said raf u're not the only dreamer of a song with the 2 components, perfect music & perfect lyrics0

I think that music is slightly more important to me than lyrics.  I'm drawn mostly to the power and heaviness of the music.  Also, since I like death metal, the lyrics aren't always recognizable, and vocals are used in a different context in this genre; more as another instrument that adds to the vibe of the song.

On the other hand, good lyrics (and lyrics you can understand) can leave an impression on you, much more so than ones that are bad or that you can't understand.  It sucks when I'm at a death metal show and I'm getting into a song that I know, but I can't sing along since I've never been able to understand the words.  It's kind of like an inherent flaw in extreme metal that makes it unique, but is the biggest factor that keeps it so underground.
