ear buds are for pussies0  i Mock people that wear em to metal concerts. as Far as favorite concerts go, getting to see after The Burning and Decimation last year at Broadway nights was pretty awesome (we got super hammered and packed 6 people into my friend's '95 toyota camri and drove downtown for a local concert).

I was there last year . Most bands were kicking ass , even if Slayer were a little disappointing , as they seemed on the urge to play and leave , having no connection to the audience . But nevertheless they were amazing . I especially enjoyed Maiden , even if it was the 2nd time i Saw them , Amorphis , Suicidal Angels , Job For A Cowboy , (a little of Gojira i managed to see ) , Overkill and i dont remember who else
It was an impressive show but the main attraction were the metalheads themselves . I got in a Fight once , and almost started 2 more . We are annoying pricks After All .

My most memorable gig would be Homo Iratus , even if it was in the smaller shithole you can imagine , with only 30 fanatics headbanging and moshing . Also the first time i Saw Opeth , because their singer is the funniest metalhead i have seen , and gave the gig a really lively and joyfull atmosphere .

Sounds fucking magic. Ever Since i found out about wacken about 3 years ago i've wanted to go. I can only imagine how unbelievable Gojira would be. (Awesome riffs) Also did Opeth play a compilation or was it the Watershed album? I would love to see the Ghost Reveries  album. That's my favourite album of all albums.
A teacher at school said something about fighting pits and shit at wacken when he went a couple of years ago.
BTW, did Gojira have whales on any of their instruments or posters?

I didnt see any fighting pits outside the moshing ones . But i couldnt be the only one getting into a Fight 3 times . I am sure it happened a lot . I dont have a theory about it . I just believe that people deprived of everyday fun can and want to reach the edge during such situations .
Gojira were great , sorry thought , i cant tell what they had on their instruments , i was in a huge circle of metalheads all headbanging

I got the idea of Gojira having whales on their instruments/posters, because i was listening to triple J and Hoagy (the host) said something about Gojira being an anti-whaling group. so then i decided to get their lyrics and they deffinetly are whale finatics. I mean, check out the lyrics to Flying whales. "I feel so Sad for them whales" hmmm.

Just looking at '10 line up, fuck me they had Amorphis, Arch enenmy. Fear Factory, CC, Ishahn, Voivod, Unleashed etc etc etc. (Guessing Job For A Cowboy would of been average. they arent the best band by any means.) Not a bad way to spend 3 days. Getting paralytic and moshing, fighting even. (ha ha).
How were Fear Factory? I Saw them last september with Metallica and they werent the best because of ther GOD damn speakers. (which im guessing Metallica made them use in the contract). Pissed me off especially because they've been my (now one of) favourite band since i was in Grade 5. Was good to see Deano (the big man) still jamming, although at our concert the big cunt could barely bangs his head. (no disrepect)

How were LoG? They supported Metallica last year at another couple of concerts in Aus. (Think they were the November shows.)
