So, Morbid Angel are about to begin recording a new album. However, with Pete Sandoval needing to get surgery for his back, Tim Yeung (Nile, Divine Heresy, Hate Eternal etc.) is recording the drums for it. A very different style of drumming indeed, and Sandoval is paramount to Morbid Angel's sound. I'm hoping Sandoval will still have some involvement with it. What say you?

It's about time! I do hope it goes back to the quality recordings we used to have with the band. Namely not a second Heretic.

As for line-up issues, we'll see. Tucker did a fine job when he replaced Vincent so Yeung could adapt his drumming to match Sandoval.

Wait and see!

Aye, Heretic was atrocious by their standards. Album I would want to be decent!

Yeah, but Yeung and Sandoval have such different styles. We shall see! Maybe Sandoval will have some artistic direction, shall we say.

Morbid Angel is NOT Morbid Angel without Pete man, the should wait for him to record the new album

He's integral to their sound. I suppose they didn't want to wait any longer and neither did he. I'd prefer if they did though!
