i think metal gives people the support they need thru many hard and difficult times that most things wouldnt be able to do
it does also (as crimson said) reveal hu we truly are one minute ur a hard working student the Next ur a fucking MANIAC in a mosh pit.
that is what metal is (well to me anyway)
