Noted for his work with the Chilean band Lluvia Funebre, guitarist Matías Francino has also been recognized for his solo work. In his newest adventure, he has just released the music video for Heart in Trance, from the second album Rising Agony, scheduled to be released on February 7.

This will be the guitarist's second LP before Rising Agony, the musician had released "Música, Poeira e Asfalto" (2013), and in addition to the EP The Earth Divided (2016).

Matías began studying guitar at the age of 9, inspired by Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana. After listening to the first albums of Black Sabbath and Rainbow, he definitely became interested in the electric guitar, guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen, Gary Moore, Uli Jon Roth, Jimmy Page, Brian May or Eddie Van Halen gave way to acquire a greater knowledge.

Influenced by bands such as Nevermore, Fear Factory, Solitude Aeturnus, Paradise Lost, Kreator, Warlock, Iron Maiden, Celtic Frost and among other artists, the band Lluvia Funebre was born, where he recorded the albums La Opción Final (2009) and Re-Construction of the Mind (2010), both carried to Francino for an extensive tour of South America.

In 2015, the guitarist traveled to Brazil, performing in various cities, such as São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro, as well as recording with other artists.
