Australian-based technical groove metal band
Kunvuk has parted ways with drummer
Felipe Cordoba and is currently seeking a replacement.
“It is with great
Sadness that we announce the departure of Felipe Cordoba from
Kunvuk. He was unable to continue in the band due to his family commitments and his
Desire to follow a career in film. We wish
HIM all the best for the future.
So now we need a new drummer! We need someone who lives in the Sydney
Area, has their own equipment, their own transport and a burning
Desire to play
drums for a career. All applicants can contact us via our
website or through our
myspace page. We will be holding rehearsals in the next few weeks and relish the challenge of bringing you a larger, uglier and more insane version of
Kunvuk in the coming months. Stay focused.”
Kunvuk have recently been announced to perform at this year’s
Sydney Dime Show which is held each year to celebrate the late great metal guitarist
Dimebag Darrell who was tragically killed on stage in 2004. For more information visit
