When I first read this I thought it was just a rumor but after confirming this with D-Zire lead vocalist Toney Richards, I can honestly say that it is certainly not a rumor. He has assembled an all star line-up that includes: German brothers Markus (guitar) & Andy Platner (drums & keys) from the band Kashmyr. Sacred Rite guitarist Jimmy Caterine. Ex. Soleil Rogue guitarist- Dennis Verner. Honky Stomp bassist- Reed Clackers. Robert Sweet drummer for Styper. Yes, the same Robert Sweet that was known for his heavy hitting and outspoken personality. Sweet will Head Out on a World Tour with Stryper starting this fall. It will be the 25th Anniversary Tour. Stryper is also scheduled to headline Saturday night July 10th at the 4 day Rocklahoma Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma. Richards has repeatedly said that this is not a permanent gig for Sweet and that it's more of an Escape from Stryper, in that he gets to experiment with other styles of music.

It will be interesting to see what the new D-ZIRE CD "Revamp The Attack" sounds like with the potent line-up he has put together.

On a side not, In Liars We Trust and ex. Piss Ant punk vocalist Josi the Kat- will be singing back-up vocals on a couple of tracks.

Other names that were mentioned but not confirmed were ex. Danzig guitarist John Christ and vocalist Betsy Bitch of the band Bitch, who were also supposed to contribute their talents respectively. I will keep you posted on what transpires with all this.
