Metal? about 5 years but i started off on Children Of Bodom, then found Carcass and it was off from there. i have been into Folk Metal for about a year now and it is a pretty big thing in my life Rock/Death/Folk/. But the daddy Genre "Rock"... Has always been in my life before i was born stuff like Bad Company and pink floyd. but also maiden and zeppelin. haha destiny!

ahmm,I have a sense that I don't enjoy metal less and less.I'm  talking about new albums, they kinda don't give me satisfaction

I've been listening to metal for about two years now. My friend threw me Dance of Death by Iron Maiden and Metallica's Black Album. I've been listening to thrash for almost two years, whereI got ...And Justice For All for Christmas one year.

Since I was about ten years old actually. I used to hang out with my cousins who were goths, and eventually thier music tastes rubbed off on me. My first album I got was the Ozzy Osbourne Randy Rhodes Tribute and I built off from there. My first show was when I was about fourteen I think, it was Ozzfest and I've been metal since.

First heard Judas Priest in 2005 when I was 13 on the radio and it made me scared and fascinated at the same time. From there it was Guns 'n Roses, Led Zep and ACDC. Then In Flames, Bodom, Nightwish, then Black Metal since I was 16, and recently Death Metal and Grindcore

I guess I've been listening to metal bands like Metallica, Black Sabbath, Testament, etc. for a while because my DAD would listen to them. I started becoming a more devout listener when I was around 16. (I'm 18 now.)
I started with Metalcore and Nu Metal when I was about 14, but I've left that in the Dust since then.

Hmm...for as long as I can remember. My DAD liked Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, he even own some black market russian vinyls from old communist times. He also took me to some romanian metal bands concerts like Cargo and Iris when I was 5 or 6.
I started searching for my own music when I was 13 or something... and didn't like any Extreme metal until I was @ 16 - about that time I started going to some metal clubs [my mom was quite irked for me liking metal music ].
