I think it's about time I made a thread about our band.

We are a Folk Metalband mixing dynamic female vocals, heavy guitars and traditional Celtic tunes all with a progressive twist.

Biography

Cryptic Age was formed in 2010 and soon developed its own folk-metal style while slowly including progressive elements into their music. The epic soprano vocals of front woman Jenny Green combined with the progressive folk-metal elements create a highly individual sound which culminated in the debut EP 'Homeland', released in May 2011. Cryptic Age released their first full-length album 'Sounds of Infinity' in May 2012 which combines more progressive and darker elements into the already-eclectic music of the band. It was also a Far more ambitious project using various special guests including a choir, instrumentalists and Voice actors.
