Also, you ignored Raina's extensive post.

I don't have a reply for everything, and even though it's my thread, I shouldn't be expected to be the only one stirring the pot. You guys can discuss this amongst yourselves.

And I thought you were bringing punk into your argument; just clearing that up.

What you guys seem to be forgetting is that simple, minimal composition is still a form of composition. Just because it is more simplistic or minimalistic does not make it any less important in the equation.

I never said it minimal composition was any less important. For the THIRD time, I said I was considering composition as a scale from fundamental composition to virtuosic, that was all.

This thread loses value if somebody fails or refuses to correctly interprete others posts on his own thread.

I didn't quite get that so I addressed others' comments that were made. I assumed what you're trying to say is that in some cases, delivery is important, but in some cases, composition is more important- I tried to address it as such.

Simply restating the comment over and over again isn't going to do any good if you think I didn't get it the last time, try rewording it. We're not always going to be on the same page and this thread is only going to "lose value" if I'm the only one trying to Cooperate here.

I'll second that. Impetigo or Autopsy are "shitty" bands technically if compared to Necrophagist or any other Hour Of Penance, but NoNe of the so-called technical bands will give me as much emotion as any Ultimo Mondo Cannibale or Severed Survival.

There are really few bands that mix both the technique and the emotions for a near-perfect result. In Death Metal, I'd say Gorguts or Ulcerate would be close to achieving this.
