@ DMp: i've heard of Craft but they aren't really what you can call New Wave BM? Can we actually tak about a coherent 'new' scene today, like we have had in Norway back in the nineties?
I have the impression bands just pop up randomly, not forming a really coherent whole. Except in eastern europe you can talk of a loose scene, especially in Romenia

China has a really promising underground BM scene... too bad their government kinda supresses that sort of music. check out Ritual Day, definintely the best Oriental Black Metal band i've ever heard. Shit yeah!... Shit no, No One likes shit!

it seems like China would be the perfect Black Metal country. it just seems like it'd be a really Bleak place to live, which is essentially the perfect atmosphere for Black Metal bands to "breed" in. Raping Corpse to Sacrifice the Moon is a close second to me when it comes to Chinese black metal.. Ritual Day is, and always will remain the King of true chinese brack metal
