After a nigh on seven year recording Silence [b]ASTRIAAL[/b] are now poised to return with their sophomore album entitled [b]‘Anatomy of the Infinite‘[/b]. This next opus will be released [b]August 5th, 2010[/b] in Digipack format for the southern equatorial territories via Australian label [b]Obsidian Records[/b], and through French label [b]Aura Mystique[/b] with alternate artwork for the rest of the world. [b]‘Anatomy of the Infinite‘[/b] along with the previous opus [b]'Renascent Misanthropy'[/b] will also be given a long awaited vinyl release via German underground supremacists [b]Art of Propaganda[/b] in later 2010 early 2011.

[b]'Anatomy of the Infinite'[/b] is strikingly different to the band's debut full length [b]‘Renascent Misanthropy‘[/b] in production, tone and song structure and resonates with a primeval, organic musicality throughout. After tracking the new album at various studios throughout Australia, [b]ASTRIAAL[/b] travelled to [b]Molla Lydstudios[/b] (Ulver, Aura Noir, Mayhem, Arcturus, etc) in Gjerstad, Norway to finalise the album with Knut Magne Valle (Arcturus) behind the engineers desk. Knut has previously engineered a number of significant albums from the Norwegian metal scene including [b]Mayhem’s[/b] latest album ‘Ordo Ad Chao’.

Featuring Eight tracks comprising of haunting and dissonant passages interwoven with moments of epic Black Metal grandeur, [b]‘Anatomy of the Infinite‘[/b] will indeed satiate the needs of those ardent adherents that have been anticipating the next chapter in the [b]ASTRIAAL[/b] sonic landscape.
