nope,after a few years (when this suckers will get older),they'll just drop music and when someone asks,why you drop the metal?!-they'll answer: because metal wasn't enought to express my soul...  believe me,noone becomes megadeath or canibal corpse,if he starts from posing and gay acting...  i know other emocore bands and more: i like some of them (Alesana for example)...  of course they are posers too but there is a line which musician shouldn't Cross and if they'll Cross this line...  posing becomes more than music in their creation,and metal becomes slutish... fucking shit...  and it isn't metal anymore...  iron maiden,Metallica,Darkthrone,Led Zeppelin,of course they are posers (all the metal bands should be posers to get some serious recording studios interested or make more sexy fans,it's not our business) too... but their posing don't fucks their music...  for them posing is after the music not before or even side by side... only after...  IMHO of course...

I was once one of those kids... then I realized you get flamed on the internet for it. I mean, look at some Metal Hammer posts. One guy says "DATZ NOT METULZ!!!" and every treats that guy like a Nazi. Also, don't just say that emo and screamo are leaving a mark on metal, look at what else they are doing. They are leaving a mark as big on the Hardcore punk genre. Emo and screamo are not metal, not punk, not good. Those genres (along with most Nu Metal) are pop. As in, they are popular and sellouts. All agreed?

Sir , you are a real metalhead . And dont worry i know .... 2 others at least   .  Sadly , metalheads are arrogant bastards . Most think that the stage of Music experience and knowledge they have is the top and NoNe can surpass them . From the point they accept that (even subconsiously) of course they think that their selection of music is the only true one . This is of course a huge mistake . Metal , as every other music has diversity and its the only thing that makes it evolve . Believe me , without Evolution , it would have died away in a matter of ,3-4 generations ? And be considered just an Outbreak in history . But no . Our music is evolving and i am personally very happy about it , because it doesnt lose NoNe of its potency and its passion .
And for fuck's sake , you all people that disagree with such narrow-mindness and stubborness , you werent Born headbanging and singing Slayer !

Sometimes I will start bitchin about something being metal or not but i'm quite openminded in it. I consider Bullet For My Valentine as metal. I'm even a big fan of it. They are not like most Metalcore bands, you can hear Thrash Metal and Heavy Metal in it more than in for example As I Lay Dying. BFMV may not be as hard as for example Bloodbath or something but they do their job very good.

Somebody posted Black Veil Brides here... that's not metal anymore. It's screamo and it doesn't cover any metalroots, only Hardcore punk roots. Conclusion: no metal.

I consider something metal as it has clear roots from the great metal genres (thrash, death, Heavy Metal)
