A black cloak slices through the disturbing space
I feel tossed about in a slow chase

The craft slides down a torrent of splinters
One million of eyes watch me on the surface of waters

I will be one of them when I’ll reach the cliff
A shadow aimless, but for now I take a deep whiff

Some leave the sphere, other crisscross the seas
Some meet evil guides, other pleasant pixies

I didn’t imagine taking a trip in a mythological landscape
But the ferryman is here, I recognize his shape

Someone must have paid for me, or maybe not
Am I still between life-and-death? I am out of earshot

He doesn’t seem to slow down the rhythm
Confidently, he takes me in my new sanctum

The river of souls is deep blue, dark grey and silvery
Made of happiness and misery
My trek is coming to an end, I can see the floating lights
Foretelling the final rite

Saviours are there, ready to weigh my soul and let my body breaking down
But a supernatural strength keeps me

I see waves and the boat, my lungs are trying to resist in a last torsion

Sheets merge with foam, my room sways between heaven and earth
I’m going to leave my life in an astral way for a rebirth
But I hear steps, a clamor; a smell of soap fills the horizon
The open sea wanted my end but my clock gives me salvation

Forsaken, in front of my past, my future,
