Lyrics

1. I

(Instrumental)

2. II

Fog among the stones
I am only alone

Mourning
Pining

Fog among the stones
Looking for my home

3. SOLITUDE WINDS

The world collapses
Before and behind
Withering
My tortured mind

I wander on
Over hills
Through forests
But it never leaves

The cold hand
Of loneliness
Haunting me
Solitude

As the sun goes down
The emptiness returns

No matter how far I walk
To seek the thing I lack
The howling winds of solitude
Forever at my back

4. CASCADES, PART I

(Instrumental)

5. DESPONDENT FIELDS

Nothing left
Everything dead
Rural decay
Burning woods

None of them
Mourn the passing
Of trees into ash
And seeds into sand

These fields are empty
Not a sound is heard
The path I walk
Is not for them

6. MANIFESTO

Sometimes people ask me, do you believe in god?
I say to that question, yes, and no.
When I say no, I do not believe in the human way of Considering a god. I do not believe in any of the Organized religions, that we put on pedestals, and use as An excuse to do whatever we want. and cry for their help Whenever we encounter a problem.
I do not believe that such people as jesus, muhammad, Buddha, were gods, or even holy men.
They were simply men. men who shared a philosophy, but They were not gods. we are all just humans. there is Nothing separating me from any other person. we all have The same genetics, the same blood, the same everything. we All stemmed from one common ancestor.
So I believe it is completely wrong to take one person who May have more influence, more power, or more money, to put Them on a higher tier of society than the man who may have No home, but has a lot of wise, and important things to Say.
I do not believe that any human being should be considered A god. we're all just grains of sand on the beach of life.
When I say yes to that question, I tell them that I Believe in the earth. I believe the earth is one huge Living thing, with the power to sustain other, smaller Living things. if you think about it, every planet in the Solar system... only this one has the power to sustain Life, as far as we know.
I believe I would refer to that as a god of sorts. you Walk in the woods, you stare at the skies, you sit next to A river, you stare at the ocean. that is a far more Legitimate alternative to going to a church, or a Synagogue, or a mosque. you are not just celebrating an Effigy of a man who spread his philosophy and called Himself...or other people called him a god. you are Actually in the presence of said deity. when you walk in The woods, you are in the arms of the creator herself.
But, sadly, all of us humans are doing an unforgivable Thing. we are slowly but surely tearing ourselves away From what created us.wouldn't you think it to be wrong, to Look at the very woman who pushed you into this world and Shoot her in the chest? that would be an unforgivable act, A complete disgrace.
Spitting on the person who brought you into this world, Looking your gifthorse in the mouth. that is exactly what All of us, as mankind collectively, are doing. doing to The earth, the creature that fathered us.
Every time we over-develop and take more than we need. Every time we dump toxic chemicals into the ocean or Rivers. every time we drive our gas-guzzling cars by and Emit more poison into the air. that is sacrilege.
The earth itself has contracted a disease.
This disease is us.

7. STING

(Instrumental)

8. ... AND THE VOICE OF REVOLUTION RANG OUT

A horrid obsession with our culture's plastic shell,
Shedding our armor for the knife of capital.
Our children will not know the songs of birds,
Or the simple joys of love and brotherhood.
They castrate our humanity,
We are being stripped of our race.
We are autonomous, not subserviant.
We are human beings, not consumers.

Hear the call.
Let your voice be heard.
Rise with strength in your heart,
And a flag in your hand.

We are strong.
We are the ninety-nine.
Each one of us a tree,
In the new world's canopy.

Arise.

9. ONLY THE WIND REMEMBERS MY NAME (DRUDKH COVER)

(Instrumental)

10. TECH-NO-LOGIC-KILL (NAUSEA COVER)

Engines of destruction lurch into gear,
Our destiny driven by greed and by fear.
Progress, the bittersweet pill we must taste,
Alone, we are exiled to an earth laid to waste.
With our very blood we must fuel the machine,
The resultant carnage is fucking obscene.
Mad men rush in where the sane fear to tread,
Like cattle to slaughter, we’re willingly led.

Stillborn, we lie cold and dead in our world,
A womb made of concrete and steel.
Lifeless, mankind has become obsolete,
Prey of tech-no-logic-kill.

The reaper of death is a silicone brain,
The last plague is progress, leprous reign.
From master to slave, we soon shall fall;
Tech-no-logic-kill is consuming us all.

A predestined hell unleashed by man’s own hand,
Eating away irreplaceable land.
Displaced native people refugees,
They crawl to the axe on their hands and knees.
Ground under the wheels of the microchip age,
Lost in translation, we just turn the page.

Stillborn we lie cold and dead in our world,
A womb made of concrete and steel.
Lifeless mankind has become obsolete,
Prey of tech-no-logic-kill.

The reaper of death is a silicone brain,
The last plague is progress, leprous reign.
From master to slave, we soon shall fall;
Tech-no-logic-kill is consuming us all.

Engines of destruction lurch into gear,
Our destiny driven by greed and by fear.
Progress, the bittersweet pill we must taste,
Alone, we are exiled to an earth laid to waste.

As the sands of time are scattered to the winds of fate,
One looks back and wonders if it was too little, too late.
Like parasites, we slowly suck the life out of our host,
Devouring for profit, we’ve destroyed what’s worth the Most.

As sickness spreads across the world, a sign of modern Times,
Multinationals commit environmental crimes,
Protected by a web of bureaucratic red tape and lies;
We’ve made laws which will ensure humankind’s demise.

The earth grows more intolerant and hostile day by day;
The fools just say that it’s god’s will and we kneel down To pray.

11. ALONE IN A DYING WORLD
