In a cold, relentless region
A beast of disorder slumbers in solitude.
Waiting to claim the Earth
And blister the sky with fissures of fire.

Circles of fire on the floor.
Burn circles of fire in the sky.
Corpse-fat candles flicker.
The chaos of light and shadow.

Embodied on a background of black.
Ignored by the stain of apathy.
On a beaconless planet, darkness reigns.
Mysteries of the worm.

Mysteries of the worm.
Darkness, doubt, disorder.
Humanity hunted as though it were prey
But don't pray to a bitter God.


2. BORE BLACK FEATHERS

Sinking sun, wilted, weary.
Pierced nightfall, pale, hollow.
The rain across your face.

A sombre stream pesters my cheek.
Deprived of light, forgotten glee.

Scalpels of light bring to light my hand, coated in dirt.
Beneath this layer is written: "Don't forget the soap."

Wading through the banality.
Cast down my reason, forgotten glee.
When the words that make promises
Are made meaningless from overuse.

Sitting alone, silent and still.
Bereft of colour, dreary, frail.

The nightingale's song has ceased.
So flourish insincerity.
Plunge us into ignorance.
And this is humanity. How lucky!

Scalpels of light bring to light my hand, coated in dirt.
Beneath this layer is written: "Don't forget."
Scalpels carve into my once wet skin.
"The birds chirp. Not once, not twice...NEVER!"


3. SEDATE ME!

Sedate me! Sleep well in a world of unrest.
(So you can) continue your mindless routine, development suppressed.
Sedate me! Unable to shit but I can sleep.
Combat morning sickness, Thalidomide's cheap.

Berate me! Mothers absolved of infanticide.
A novel concept given that you made your choice.
Berate me! Alleviation equals annihilation.
Like a buzzing in your ear "It's my fault."

Disability writhes within you.
Ingrown genitals, broken hearts.
Who cares? Ignorance is an excuse.
In my world, it's your head in the noose.

Negate me! Happily shove pills down your throat.
Negate me! Yet companies should bear the blame.
Negate me! Giddy with the thought of a quick pay-check.
Consigned to oblivion, abdication of responsibility.

Sedate me! Berate me! Negate me!


4. PEST BAN

Unremembered, unlamented, you skulk and crave only pity.
Why should we retch on empty words?
And stomach your deluded home-grown monomania,
When the trail of your failure wends its fetid stench back to you.

The masses like locusts culled.
This depression, your self-made, self-sent designer plague.

Enact the pest ban, when fruitless life bloats unreplete.
Enforce the pest ban, cleanse humankind's stables of pointless meat.

Your witless self-indulgence will end as it began.
With the realisation, that existence terminated is your only lot.

Slave to one and all.
A respiring machine.
Expendable, used then left.
A gangrenous will, starved of purpose.

End a squandered life!
Your birthright expired.
Surrender your place up to higher worth.
No last reprieve, be gone, be dead, be dirt.


5. TO WANDER ETERNAL CORRIDORS

Cast down through emptiness into the eternal pit of darkness.
Drones of black death wisp past and deafen.
Into the unknown eons, screaming!
A faceless screech without a sound.

As time folds back in around you
Faces haunt the flowing mist.
Cold, cold
Black memories...

Screaming into the void where planets fall and die.
The endless walls don't echo.
For in this darkness filled with vomit and hurt,
Swirls a disease in spirals, surrounded by sickness.

The blood drips from the tongue into everlasting time.
As you wander eternal corridors.

Decaying teeth chatter as this blackness dissolves your being
And the mind of the damned is erased.
Consumed by hate, in death, in fear.
The torn flesh of despair.

Life vanishes into a point of light where creation once began.
The bleakness has consumed you...
