1. EMBERS IN A WORLD ABLAZE

Shining throughout this coal-type world,
Billions of hearts alight
With different instructions encoded,
A life not born to fade

A world gone blind in light,
Embers in a world ablaze...

Some are expanding,
Making the world their own
Others bright in themselves
No need to spread

But still the embers flourish,
While some are left to die
A glimpse of truth now hidden,
Which no-one will ever find

Smog lifts it's unformed head
Exposing the flame
Embers in a world ablaze...
All as one, for each has no real name

The smell of burning wisdom
Melted by the sun of reality,
From a spark of fantasy
To be devoured by the scorching tide

2. ANCESTRAL DISAPPROVAL

Ancestral disapproval,
Those who lived now gone
Still in charge of our beliefs,
In guilt we dwell

They still control the way we think

Moral code set in stone,
Pulling us down
Questioning the world, the so called faith,
The fuel that fills the crowd
Visions...of a greater goal
Illusioned by fear

Birthright of the damned, sign your life away

Sanctity now unleashed
Still in charge of our beliefs
They were found, hidden and locked
By a chain of deceit

Birthright of the damned, sign your life away
To our aged values caught,
In the mass-digested way

I now command the spell to be broken

Destroy the curse of ignorance,
Challenge the way of the world,
A world of fear, filled with hate!

Witnessing a healing man,
A second coming within
Opened and observed, the will now reborn

3. BEARING WITNESS

Bearing witness,
I find myself alone,
Amongst the meadows

Amongst the trees came the spirit,
A guiding light for us
And who would dare to bare all
For such an unknown need

Deeply rich in flowing essence,
A force or light so immensely strong
Melting my eyes into a grain of sand,
Collapsing into the beholders hands

I myself ashamed and guilty
Of living my life without once questioning
The meaning of my existence,
And the beauty of the sun

In all been shown, no matter the age
Not a glimpse of truth been carved
From a tree of knowledge,
Within the mist of darkness grows

4. TORTURED SKIES

A thousand years
Of pain and no-one holds
The key to unlock this door
Unresponsive to the minds
That scream in anguish

Warping of emotions,
And all you see
Never to behold the day,
A sinking vision,
Never to behold the day

Another life beyond the cold
Perceptions of humanity
Another life
I feel the skin peel of my back
Free from flesh I am one. I am the earth

Behind the lies you'll find
The tortured skies within me

Rise beyond the aching cries,
And listen to the powers 4
To run where others crawl
To achieve total regression

5. FORSAKEN

Comfort my silence,
The aching beast awakes in me
Drawn from a dimension,
Soaked in pain

My eyes stare frozen,
Into the realm of real, but silently
My blood boils as the beast prepares
To be freed

Life...such a test for the cosmic
Lies...made to serve the denial of our fears

Pawns in an earth-game
Moving swift towards ideals of nothing
All to calm the guilt of ignoring existence

Spirits prepare the battle that millions
Have fought in the past
Bringing the peace of a tranquil darkness,
To light

Fires burning without decay
All life drifts away
Over-powered in need to reason
Not even afraid

6. ANCIENT SHAME

Born into a world that's been defined
The art of difference a blasphemy of thought
Realization screaming
Trapped in a circle of stone,
I c me to wonder, has my truth been shown?

To walk in the shadow,
The shade of blind faith
Never the truth shown

Shrouded by ages,
Prophetic false wisdom
An ancient shame

And so confide in the body divine
With insect- like legs
The biosphere evades the light,
And ancient shames

The twisting tales
Of winters creation
A sadness beyond pain

The worship betrayal,
Corruption the skin,
Malignant, lie down in time

Forcing the theory, control the soul,
Reading the verses that spill from the hole

Amazing the ears, subhuman the minds,
Who praise the white robe,
Who worship the black, it's all the same

7. SHADOWS OF TRAGEDY

Most of them are silent,
A host of hollow times
Waves of doubt like rivers
That flow from the bloodstream
Of tragedy

It happens every day,
The answers are lying here
In mocking solar cages
Of fear and conformity

How lonely is the sun that shines on everyone
How hungry is the moon that bleeds the fading sun
And only for a chance to feel it's warm embrace

The sickness of dreams,
The dreams of lunar spheres
The Earth that never sleeps

How precious is this life...how lonely are the gods
Are the answers in the stars?
Are they right before our eyes?

8. COSMIC PRISMS

Resist this place casts no light,
Yet withers in shadow realms
From eyes that falter
From fountains of burnt crimson,
An empty house of echos

This dwelling place of pity,
Where I sleep
This dwelling place of pain,
Haunting me

The loss so futile - long lost I search
The loss so futile - long lost I search for peace,
I search for legend

A prisoner embedded in future's past
With all the force and finality of forever,
Dark genesis

Forage this wasteland on a quest for
Remembrance
Under clouds of witness chilled by misery,
From paths that wonder
From nights that have no end

This silhouette of time - mine to reap
This microscopic eye - watching me

9. NESTLED IN TIME

Beyond the arching mountains,
Whose peaks reach the blazing sun

Where darkness is dormant,
Humble souls reside there, in seclusion
Peaceful their lives

A land, a flourishing haven
Of which splendor replaces desire,
With the wisdom of ancients,
Their destiny written

Simplicity, a tool
Securing a calm perspective
On the journey to fulfill,
All-knowing power

Seeing all, but silent

Who could predict such a power,
Neatly held by the grasp
Of a tribe, nestled in time

Their oath, practiced through duty,
Intact with respect and humility
All life born and bonded by glory

A moving enlightenment,
Caught by the glimpse
Of a shadowing angel
That comes to them in indifference,
For they lead such simple lives

Mortals of blood, immortal at heart,
All will dwell in the grace of the light,
For even as their bodies grow old,
Forever they'll live off the breath of the wind

10. A WRINKLED SHELL, THE ORCHID OF SIN

Lost within the walkways of sin,
The seed that carries us,
A cyst, a burning heat inside,
Born from the depth of a single cell
I wonder, what does it take to quench the thirst?
A goblet of fire,
Brewed by a distant passion-star?

That from the sea's and seasons change,
Nectar of desire,
Which will most certain leave a scar

Fall! a wrinkled shell, the orchid of sin
The stench of carrion
Light, a sense to cleanse the odour that dwells
Inside the hearts of all

It would seem that lurking in
The recesses of our beings,
A battle exists between light and dark!

A seed sewn so deep
Upon our deeds, our actions, It will feed!
In a search for righteousness, we gash ourselves
And lick at our wounds

What a noble cause, to separate good from evil,
L know now
In a search for righteousness, we gash ourselves
And lick at our wounds

What a noble cause, to separate good from evil,
I know now

11. WEATHERING THE STONE

Bring him forward,
The master of disguise..
And tactful warrior,
That from the flood arose
His eyes must meet mine

Open the scroll of long eras past,
Of guides and prophecies
That are carved
From this truth a leader born,
A great leader of words, to be torn

A healer
No face, the one who feeds the soul
Hidden from our darkened past,
Slowly engraving, weathering the stone

Using a chisel, trademarked by time itself,
A blade sharper than water, to carve the plains
And all but part...
The human conscious to feel

Oh, wizard of will,
Be told a tale of old,
Of what once was and will be
For the masses wait,
Impatient minds arise
And from this rebellion
Will come sculpture
Turned to dust
