This morning’s dawn looks just the same
As it did yesterday
Freedom murdered by my hate
Chains my thoughts of the Way

If the Earth wouldn’t laugh at me I’d pray
For her to send me to ocean’s sway

My soaked cheeks have no bloom
The blood bath in my soul
Fills my veins with its wintry coldness so cruel
Bittersweet memories are turning into nightmares
That choke me with one single sweet lullaby

Few days spent in my paradise can’t give enough
Only thought of death so near could give passion to live

But the death may be far and I can’t rejoice
So I could see the rays of Autumn’s sun

When I get to the light through the dark

The rising star already falling
Makes my heaven bleed
For on that dark star depends
All that I will ever be

Truth burns the heart that has to hide it
From eyes that only tame its voice

2. SACRED BETRAYAL

It’s your flaming desire
That betrayed his trust

Run for your life, you have no home
He will haunt you for long lost life

You are lost in the role you played to have
All the pleasures of playwright

Having denied one with the grace
Already giving up with the hope
You are the scapegoat that carries the
Burden of being the queen of the hearts

In all those fairytales you held so dear
All of the heroes they died in the end

Bathed in the tears of Phoenix to get back your past
But the tainted fears are all that you have

When the sun melts your Deathsong
Only love can win

But the soldiers they reach out for your hand
Just to hang you on your own shame

There, up in the sky, tired to fly
Venomous black birds they come with the ghosts
Of the souls you have burnt

In the end of your life you only beg for silent rest
‘Though you know that you give your life for someone else

For the only truly sacred heart in your world
Some day knows the story of a mother who
Loved him and then flew
To the one that she called God
