There's enough reason for me to download the album to my ipod and check it out from there. I'm curious to hear more, though. I'll try to remember to download the album along with Nightfall by Candlemass ;)

if one considers the early bands like Venom and Hellhammer early black Metal then i was into them early in the 80s.

i didnt get to hear Bathory til the late 80s.

Immortal's At The Heart of Winter album was the first piece of black Metal I Ever listened to, and Immortal is still my favorite black Metal band.

My first intro to Black Metal was Samael. Back in 1993 or 4 listening to a college radio station. Blood Ritual! First BM CD purchased as well.

Mine first Black Metal is Burzum, my girlfriend lisetn them and i think "Why not listen to their music". My first album was  'Det som engang var"  And then I started listening to other albums and bands like Mayhem, Marduk, Immortal and Gorgoroth
