Biography : Theudho

Theudho gained instant attention in the pagan metal scene with the release of the 2003 demo-Cd "Dies Natalis Solis Invicti". The demo was hailed as one of the best Belgian underground debuts and was compared to such gods in the genre as Burzum, Satyricon, Bathory, Emperor and Falkenbach. Inspired by northern European nature and devoted to ásatrú, "Dies Natalis Solis Invicti" features a dynamic mix between aggressive and melancholic moods.

Early 2004, "Under the Alemannic Sun" saw the light of day; a split demo-CD with the Flemish underground project Gorath. These harsh and disturbings tracks formed the musical basis for a lyrical exploration of the darker aspects of Germanic myths and lore. Hailed by underground fans and dreaded by black metal purists, "Under the Alemannic Sun" embodies the spirit of a time when blazing churches illuminated the night sky.

A Theudho debut album is currently being recorded and is expected to appear on Nepherex in the early fall
