REVERENCE was created in 1998 by I.Luciferia. REVERENCE is, nowadays, an one man band. The first demo " Winds Of North " was recorded in March of 2001 and it contains 5 tracks. This demo was produced by Extreme Productions in CD-r format (with pro-cover - front and back), limited to 500 copies. The second demo "Wenn Die Nacht Kommt..." was recorded in May of 2002 and it contains 5 tracks too. At the same time, a BURZUM cover "Black Spell of Destruction" was recorded. " Wenn Die Nacht Kommt.. ." will be produced by the french label Die Unaussprechlichen Kulten Editions in pro-tape format, limited to 300 copies. During the year 2003, a tribute, " Tribute to Old School Spirit " was released by La Horde Noire . For this, REVERENCE recorded a cover of SHINING "Stonelands". In Febrary of 2004, the drummer Earendal (ANIMUS HERILIS) and the bassist Sagoth (ETERNAL MAJESTY, ex-ANTAEUS) came to integrate REVERENCE. In August, Sagoth quit the band. He will be replaced by Aym. In the year 2004, the split 10'' MLP " Decorporation ", with REVERENCE and BLUT AUS NORD, was produced by Die Unaussprechlichen Kulten Editions. In September, 11-2004, the split " Anti-Life Terror " was released by Brutal Druids Productions , in CD-r format limited to 333 copies, with REVERENCE, WOLOK and SONS OF FENRIS. In November 2004, the brazilian label Krieg Records , re-released the first demo " Winds Of North " in tape format with pro-covers, limited to 100 copies, with a bonus track, the cover of BURZUM, recorded during the " Wenn Die Nacht Kommt.. ." sessions. At the same month, Earendal quit REVERENCE for health problem. At the end of 2004, the french label Dead Sun Records have signed REVERENCE for the first album " Industrial Mental Concept ". Already, the band is working for this album.
