Stunning melodies and passionate solos, breath-taking songs of long lasting and neo-classical influences characterize well this young metal band from Canada's french capital. Inspired by the Finnish and Swedish new-wave of melodic death metal with a highly-rated progressive sound, KÄLTER is now ready to deliver its music to the entire world.

With its popularity rising from day to day, KÄLTER had many big opportunities to promote the band's first professional demo, ''Cold Misery'' by doing awesome gigs with notably NORTHER (Century Media Records), CATAMENIA (Massacre Records), AETERNAM (Metal Blade Records), BLINDED BY FAITH (Galy Records) and also an incredible tour with BLACKGUARD (Nuclear Blast Records) and CRYPTIC HOWLING (Cryogenic Records).

In July and August 2009, KÄLTER recorded its first full lenght album at Badass Studio with Jef Fortin (NEURAXIS, AETERNAM, UNEXPECT, THE LAST FELONY, ...). ''Spiritual Angel'' will include eight new astonishing songs, combining melodic and folk riffs with progressive influences, with also a special guest appearance by Leïlindel from UNEXPECT on the masterpiece ''Time out of Mind''. No official release date has been announced yet for the album but the band will play a few songs of it on February 12 with MARTYR (Galy Records).
