This is a split from 2 artists that I have very high in my expectations. 2 artists, that thus far have not let me down a single time. One of the bands on this release lets me down quite a bit, this is lymphatic phlegm.

But let's start off with XXX Maniak. XXX Maniak has proven that it could easily become a big band in the porngrind industry, with a guy that screams, grunts and uses pitchshifters at the most bizarre times. On this album though, he seems to have chosen for the scream. The guitars are typically porngrind, but a little faster. This may be seen as a shame for some people, because the groove will, in this way, definitely go away for the most part. But for some reason it does not. The intro's are, as I am used from XXX Maniak, genius, though not really original. Of course, humour is one of the key things that are used in the music, though if you don't know the lyrics, it's still a nice listen.

Lymphatic Phlegm has always been high in my regards, and I thought that with albums such as Pathogenesis Infest Phlegmsepsia and Show-off Cadavers, they could never go wrong. But this album proves me wrong. Lymphatic Phlegm seems to have lost its inspiration on this album, and I cannot say that I enjoyed it very much thus far. That's too bad, because I know what they can do, and they can do much better than this. Also, they have very little tracks. I did not really expect that from them, 11 tracks. Mainly because on their first full-length they used 31 tracks all by themselves, and it never got boring. This release though, gets boring after 5 songs, which is really not much if you listen to goregrind.

So, the album starts off very good, but at the end it's a little bit less than I expected, so I cannot give more than 15 points for this.
