Claremont Showground in Perth Australia houses a variety of events every year, one of which has been dubbed the biggest congregation of metalheads in Australia : The Soundwave Festival. It is the biggest metal festival in Australia and tours in each major city of Australia each year (Claremont houses the Perth leg of the national tour) with a lineup of around forty bands each time. Past lineups have included Slipknot, System Of A Down, Machine Head, Dimmu Borgir, Marilyn Manson, Wednesday 13, Murderdolls and Trivium.
