1. Two Islands

Deep within the dark ages
Times known for war and fury
The lowlands and the highlands were united
The mighty hordes of war turned west

Far beyond the channelled waves
Amidst the orange, green and brown
The land coloured red, white and blue
On the mighty battlefields

High over the planes the flags waved
Union Boots crushed clover leaves
Eilin pipes pierced by longbow arrows
Echoes of mighty clashes ring

Dim light at the horizon
Clouds of battle storms rise into the sky
All the colours bleed into one
How the mighty have fallen

2. Vault of the Witness

A dark fragment of the land
Shining by the shields and swords
The battlecry lay in their eyes
But the only things that clashed were their hearts
Suddenly the world fell in turbulence
Eroded silence and bloody soil
There was no lenience left behind
That could choke this insanity

Blind fury overshadowed grace
By the patterned scourge of hate
Sibilant tongue and imminent treason
Shattered the scattered
Thus guilt crawled away in the night
All were victims of frenetic murder
And the origin of a frenzied hex
When victory was forged with hoarse craft

Hatred smiling on the horizon
As if the sun herself was wounded
With the sore plague of cruelty
They would never have an absolution

Savagery except for a sole survivor
Trying to escape his frantic fate
Went into hiding in an isolated cave
Awaiting the closing of his days

I looked into the eyes of death, felt its grasp clasping my heart I felt the soft embrace of stone cold company Wounded in the bottom of my soul, silently languishing”

Labuntur anni nec pietas moram Rugis er instanti senectae
Adferet indomitarque morti
(Horatius Flaccus)

(The years go by and while the old age approaches, fidelity can not delay the wrinkles and I can not tame death.)

Tears were glistening in his eyes
He died but his spirit stayed captured
Imprisoned with the souls of his people
Until someone enters the vault of the witness

The Stone of Delusion's Saga

Thousands of years ago, there used to be a mythological world beyond the world we now live in. That world was ruled by the priests of the good God on one side, and the priests of the evil God on the other side. They lived at war all the time. Normal civilians were forced to choose for one God, unbelievers were imprisoned and often liquidated.

In that era the God of Evil created a stone that made it possible to control and manipulate other beings. An unknown harm to the owner of the stone was that he constantly would be in frenzy, as in an eternal delirium, and so would become a servant of the Evil God.

Once each year, when the night is at its darkest, the two Gods fight for the sceptre that grants supremacy over the world for the next year. On such a day, the priests of the good God stole the stone from the God of evil while distracted by the fight with his nemesis.

They hid the stone in a cave of which they thought that nobody would find the precise location. The entrance was sealed with magic and they also placed a huge granite wall with the stone’s story and immortal hazard on it, the Stone of Delusion’s Saga was born.

This saga was remembered for hundred years and it became a myth, a story that was believed to be invented to frighten the people in order of keeping them pious. But some had not forgotten the source of this myth and they knew a dark force still was searching for that ancient stone. And indeed, the dark God was beaten for several years, but he still urged for his stone and awaited his moment of vengeance. He lived secluded and combined his forces, and at last, with enough power, he sent his five disciples, the Lords of Delusion, to search his stone, and he challenged the good God for a final, decisive battle.

The fury of the dark God was so deeply that he also cursed the world. If his disciples would return, and he would find the Stone of Delusion back in his grasp, then the world would perish after thirteen apocalyptic days.

From no one the world lived in an unseen fear, and everybody awaited the result of the upcoming battle of the two gods.

Then, the night called again. The time that would bring solution had come. Again the divine fury of the most destructive battle broke lose. The people waited with fear and wonder.
Finally the war ended. Both gods had used all the powers they got, and now were both too weakened to kill their opponent. They slowly and silently perished into nothingness. The world had no ruler anymore and was plunged into anarchy. But somewhere on that world still wandered the five disciples in search of the stone.

3. Lords of Delusion Part I: The five Disciples

Entrance to desecration, company distressed
Power to manipulation, malice demands
Pagandom and deep misfortune as runes on a granite wall

Secrecy which manifests in lords of delusion
Cherish perseverance as a virtue of faith
A hell that sets the world aflame
Yet no priest would ever lie

The moon exploded twice and without a single tear
This idyllic deprived tale was told to a wrong god

Echoes of better times that wandered once over this world
Burned in dogmatic flames

Secrecy which manifests in Lords of Delusion
Cherish perseverance as a virtue of faith
A hell that sets the world aflame
Yet no priest would ever lie

The five Lords found the stone and had to retrieve it to their God. Instead they returned in the wrecked and desolated palace that once belonged to the dark God. They lost every connection with their master and became sole creatures, deprived of all power and strength. But one of the disciples felt enchanted by the stone they carried with them. He could steal it and escaped to the Sphere of Nothing, the empire between the world of the gods and that of the people. For days he wandered but felt himself changing, his supernatural power increased. He found out that he was slowly turning into a god himself.

This also was foretold in history. For parts of the ancient written prophecy on the granite wall said that “One is chosen to rule the Stone of Delusion, and will become a new god to decide between good and evil again…”

4. Lords of Delusion Part II: The Prophecy Prevailed

Back from the quest for the stone
I settle on a throne and drink scarlet blood

Enchanted by celestial beauty
That brought us devastation
I am the chosen one, the prophecy

A nightmare in this dark masquerade
As the moon sets a fatal nightMy vision of psychotic murder
Unleashed an immortal power A demon in my head breaking outOne endless night in psychosis

“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster”
{Friedrich Nietzsche}

I still can see the granite runes
Carved by the claws of time
They foretell a holy war
In which darkness will prevail

Exiled to lower atmospheres
A decadent forlorn god
One endless night in psychosis
The Chosen One

Shades of delusions rush over
Have no fear and fight back
I am the chosen one, the prophecy

A demon in my head breaking out
One endless night in psychosis
Revealing my spirit within
I will not stand any longer
Blood and bone

6. Lemuria's Crypt

Prologue

Only in the death of your saviour,
you can find salvation…

Part I

Summer turned into winter blast
It woke us then in blissful charm
Reflections in the diamond snowfield
Tyrant of utmost infestation
A darkish plague and a coming curse
Clung to fatal attraction
Infesting the poisonous chalice
With transmogrification

Abhorrent funeral horror
Scream this song of blood

Part II

The proud ethereal champion, my aesthetic baton of morale

We are betrothed of fire, of multiple desire
Ornamental shows in the deepest pits
The only acclamation of pure beloved brier
And faithless intoxication

“Reveal thyself unknown rider,
for the silent storms of Avalon approach”

Frightful was this divine sacrifice
Of malevolence and angelic renewal
Lightning stroke in twilight hour
Dark enfeeblement
The last day passed away
A minute of earthly bane
And the curse occurred that moment
Stronger as never before
I feel terror and agony in my veins
Enclasp this awful demon
I’ve made my home be my gallows

Part III

(In that way the oracle was right, for no soul ever yearned again after that clandestine beauty. Except of me, victim of my own mortal pride. The dim landscapes rush into my head, memories of the wasteland, a profound pandemonium, torturing my spirit as the scraping of an old door. But I am faithful, and await my lot. Not scared anymore to undergo this ultimate getaway. What will be heaven beyond a paradise lost? I revive but I can feel my strength fading away. And no soul would ever return again…)

Part IV

Abhorrent funeral horror
Scream this song of blood
I stand here alone
As I went berserk in this nostalgic world
A culture once flourishing
Heaven beyond a paradise lost
Listen to the whispering words
They spell my incineration
Take me to the place of dementia
Entombed Lemuria’s crypt

Epilogue

I’ve made my home be my gallows…
