7. MY DOG CAN PREACH

I’m at home sittin by myself it’s just me and the
Dog there ain’t no one else around
I hear a noise and I look to see the dog’s up on
The table - I smack him just to get him down
My God I still can’t believe the dog said to me

I agree this is not the norm I will not conform
I’m here on a mission
I’ve been sent that you might repent and be changed

That dog of mine is so divine he can preach the gospel truth

I began to shout as he laid it out, the son of God was slain for all man
Kind rose again on the third day
Now heaven belongs to those who believe


8. RISE UP

It all went down just as planned
The kingdom of darkness had brought down the man
The savior of the world, betrayed by the kiss of a friend
They beat him down, they nailed him up
The doctors and teachers had all heard enough
The man had done no wrong and nothing deserving of death

They sealed him in the tomb that day
And thought that all was done
It rocked the very gates of hell when the father called his son
Rise up!!!

He rose up in the early light and stepped out from the grave
The scars of death upon him now everything has changed
The one hold that the devil had and every man would face
Was pulled down in front of him through Christ we now are saved

Was once lost -now we are found in Christ and now we are saved
Was once blind-and now we see in Christ and now we are saved
Was once dead- now we're alive in Christ and now we are saved
Forgiven and now accepted by God forever we're saved

The evil day is upon us the hearts of man will fail
The word of God is within you - the righteous will prevail


9. S.O.S.

God, I’ve missed it again - I don’t know how
He gets by me every now and then
I feel so weak - and so helpless
The more I try - the bigger the mess

I've never met a bigger man to this day

We live in a world - a world of promises
Most believe are made to be broken
Man to man who can you really trust
And who will stand by their word
We live in a day of desperation
Most believe denying the power
God has given man has refused
Too many times

From the days of our fathers we've heard of the promise
Such as we have not yet seen
So where is this promise lift up your eyes
He comes as a thief in the night

Then the earth will start to quake
And the moon becomes as blood
The stars will fall from the heavens
You say you don't believe you'll see
