1. HOLES

I will never see the outside again,
From this hole that I fell into back then.
So many people with closed minds,
Who need to see things from the outside,
At least one time.
I feel alive, but there's something missing always.
Change is something I need to see constantly within myself;
My friends and the world.

We are lifetimes away from this and I'm just starting to see it.
Searching further into all my dreams.
I'm trying to figure out where this lifetime can take me.

Pushing myself to always be the person that is living for their dreams.
Not enough time to waste it, not enough promised days ahead.
Pushing one's self is the hardest thing anybody in this world can find themselves doing.
I'm always trying to see it, I'm only starting to see it.


2. THE TASK

Become one with yourself.
The faster we do this, the clearer our outlook will become.
The world that you take in every waking hour,
Might be the only one that you have.
Because the task in life is to push yourself,
To be the only person that you could die happy as,
And finding the feeling that takes you somewhere new.
To experience is our goal.
To be close minded is like taking a gift and throwing it away.

Our decisions they will stay.
Actions will become answers, and people they will change.

Because I had the most beautiful feeling inside,
And I pushed everything else in my life aside.
I had it, I felt it, embraced the warmth of it;
And now that it's gone I won't stop until I find it,
Even if it takes a lifetime.


3. CAGE WITH GOLD BARS

Knowing this life is up to you
is something you have to hold onto.

There's no textbook for this life.
No saying what's right for me.
I'm not settling.
I'm still listening.
Just not buying in.

Your wealth and possessions don't impress me.
Or your life.
You can call it what you will but your paradise
is still a cage with gold bars.

I want to know what it feels like
to hold it in my hands and heart.
And let the warmth bask over me.
The feeling of being alive; hold it.
You never know when its leaving.
Let the course that's supposed to be, happen.


4. SHINE THROUGH

It takes strength to hold this heart.

I won't be the man who only lets his dreams live when he sleeps.
But the man who lets them shine though into every single thing he does.
I won't be the man who's a slave for his possessions.
I won't be the man who lets his life pass him by.

When heart speaks to mind it's not to be disregarded, at least for me.
I need to have it, that feeling when your heart demands it.
I don't know if I can let it go.
There are so many places left for me to see.
How will we ever know what it feels like,
To be the person that is living for themselves and their dreams?

Even when your days seem hardest, let your dreams shine though.
When the world pushes down on me, I know this is who I'm supposed to be.
Always and forever; nothing's ever felt so perfect.
Now I see, this is who I'm supposed to be.


5. ARTISAN

To be in a place, that has something with substance to offer.
I'm trying be there. It's getting so much harder.

Is there anything with any density left for me to see?
It's hard for me to believe with all this shit around me.

People let foe push friend, and lay these feelings to rest,
When I know there's something to be done to help.

These moments we hold close always belong to us.
And I know there's something to be said.

Too many people in the world holding themselves back.
Who need to tear into their hearts just to feel them beating.

Living for your dreams is a lost art in this narrow world.
Looking past the framework to push yourself is all but gone.
To create something, and hold that something
Is a feeling that I'll never let go of.
Not for anything.

6. HOLDING ON

It's funny how the time runs out,
And the window of opportunity,
That you've been waiting for all your life,
Just seems to slip right by.
It's our chance to take it, where most will break it.
We will hold onto the feeling of living for ourselves.

It starts in this moment right now.
It's something you can't let pass you by.
It will be haunting you for the rest of your life.
I've seen it in my elders,
Bitterness towards the fact we're living for our dreams.
That's something that they never could quite complete,
Or even have the heart to try it.
How will we ever know if you can't even put yourself out there?


7. WHAT YOU'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR

Face to face with the world by day, and it's idiocrasies.
A decent sense of direction is the only thing that's keeping me on my feet,
And my head to the ground.
If I don't see I can't believe.
I am free and I'm not convinced that easily.

Listen, open your eyes.
Everything that you've been searching for is right here, waiting.

I don't claim that I know everything,
But I know a presumptuous desire for a second life is not me.
To live in vain, it's not me.

I've been told there is a reason for us being here.
Our lives are gold, but they will be lost,
Like meteors burning in the atmosphere.
I'm not sold that easily,
But I'll give hope to those scared to die like me.


8. SOMETHING MORE

Looking in your eyes I knew
You were the one who would hold me close,
The one that wouldn't let go.
I have an open heart to change,
The ones I love sometimes do say things
And turn and walk away from me.

And that's okay the hardest part of being human
Is learning to let go and pick your battles well.

If patience is a virtue, we are waiting patiently.
Time will show us who we are whether or not we'd like to see.
This idea we call life is to become the best that you can be,
I'm trying harder everyday to find the man that I plan to be,

9. BREAK AWAY

Living in a world of tradition, I'll break myself away.
We all need to go our own way and chase all the horizons.
You need to feel for yourself and break paths with those that will blind you.
A man that tells you how to feel is a man that will tear you down.
They're only depriving from themselves the experience that could define who they are.

But we will find ours, we will find it.
We will accept from the world all that is has to offer.
We're not blinded, we carry the fire inside ourselves,
And we will burn the tryant beside us.

Line up the world's traditions.
They will be broken down, they will be set on fire.
By the will to change for the better.
This is our chance to break way.

With tradition gone, what feels right for me will stay.

It baffles me how many people live their lives,
With eyes cloaked over and only see one dimensionally.
They push their beliefs on you and me.
But trust me, their fruitless efforts will go unseen.

11. LUXURY

Always know that the time you have right now might be your only time at all.
This is the only thing you need, everything else is a luxury.
Don't let the weight of the world be pushed down on you.
Let your altruistic mindset fight for you.

You're not a slave to past generations.
You have a mind of your own and a heart to feel anything you desire.
If it feels right for you, fuck anyone that tries to put you down or say otherwise.

I don't live for you, I live for me.
I won't let the world's obsolete traditions be pushed upon me.
I will throw gasoline on the bigot in front of me.

Reliving this again, this time making everything last.
The course is set on target, it's a fight we know too well.

12. STROMA (PUSHING ONE'S SELF)

Subject to the earth.
I am just standing here, waiting for the world to change me.
Finally, I feel it's deserved.

Unaware of how much opportunity that had been given to me.
