The end is near, not too much longer now

I go where I want and I live where I please
No one dares get in the way
Because we've got no brakes and we drank too much
That'd be a dangerous game to play!
Under the summer sun's unbearable heat
And through the stinging rain
This unstoppable metal steed's
Voracious appetite for pain
Will be my death...though a happy one...
I'd rather live, even if I'm alone!
So off I roll into the dust
And on it rides with my soul!!!

Time is precious...I should know!

It takes one to know one
