2. MEDUSA

Another hot summer's night and medusa held
The whole world in her hand
A woman of such beauty with long silky hair
Shines bright in the candlelight
Boasting and shouting her beauty unsurpassed
Even by the mighty gods
On this hot summer's night medusa's world
Would crumble out of sight.

A head full of snakes was the price that she paid
No one would dare look into those eyes
A head full of snakes for one small mistake
What a price to pay.

That night in the temple she was ravished by
The Sea-God Neptune
The Goddess Athena was angered had to punish her
For this evil act
In a flash of lightning her beautiful silky hair
Was replaced with slithering snakes
No more would she look into the eyes of another man
For the rest of her days.

A head full of snakes was the price that she paid
No one would dare look into those eyes
A head full of snakes for one small mistake
What a price to pay.

Never again would she look upon another face again
Because one look and they'd be turned into stone.

A head full of snakes was the price that she paid
No one would dare look into those eyes
A head full of snakes for one small mistake
What a price to pay.

3. VAMPIRE RISING

He awoke from his grave confused
While around there was nothing to which he could fuse
In the dead of the night owls wings flapping in flight
He punched his way clear of the coffin:
He had risen again!

As he regained his senses he looked around
And as he did he saw an auriferous tomb
But when he walked inside he couldn't believe his eyes
Beings feasting on human necks which forced him into a Terrible retch.

They looked around and threw him a glare then carried on Eating their victims rare
So he swiftly departed and fell on his knees frightened
He panicked and crawled for the trees.

Coming from nearby whimpering he heard
He walked over the look the girl then screamed
She showed him a mirror but he was not in there
He licked his teeth when the horror dawned.

A vampire he'd become!
He ran through the night
Leaving visions of fright
Running blind
But leaving behind
A certainty of celestial doom.

When he reached the old town hall he walked inside
And then barricaded the doors so that he couldn't get Outside.

He walked to the reception and he asked for some help
But when she looked up at his face she almost died
She fell off her chair and collapsed in a heap
But not before she managed a squeak
He looked at her there just lying blank
So he bit her neck and drank.

Blood was on his face dripping to the floor
So he ran to the bog and wiped it on his shirt
Then he realised what he had done
So he opened the window and leapt to the floor.

A vampire he'd become!
He ran through the night
Leaving visions of fright
Running blind
But leaving behind
A certainty of celestial doom.

A vampire he now was
He was a creature of the night
Leaving people with bites
Chasing food
And leading his brood
To victory over humankind!

4. THE PERKS OF BEING IN OFFICE

Life-force of the thousands enflamed
The destruction of the human race enchained
Caused by the eventual decay
Of the foreign policies that our governments interchanged
The life of luxury enjoyed by the high
Opposed by the shit of poverty in the sty
Losing the trust of the people they relied
(They’re) pulling blinds across our faces to make their People blind.

Enslaved and deranged
The people suffer rage
At the ones that caused them pain
Unleash the fury
Abused and chained
The pitiful shall reign
The bloodlust and the fever
Unleash the fury.

The glory and the high life reign
The rich are a plague to the game we play
We go to war at the drop of a hat
Then we end up losing and we call the government crap
Lives are lost at the parliaments will
Lives don't cost as much as swill
In their eyes we are but pigs
But we’re not as bad as the people from the streets.

(They) sit in their office and decide who to slay
They target the people that are unlikely to sway
Why do we even elect to put them there?
In the place where they can do most damage and wear?
Abusing their power everyday
Mocking the people that let them have their way
Trust is a concept to them unknown
And we'll only find out long after they've flown.

Why do we not try and oust them from their seats?
Kick them out of power and trample them on the streets
We could do much more than wait
Like awake the new governmental earthquake.
Get up from your seats and put an end to war,
(It’s) more exciting than the sofa where you go to snore.
Join us now in this new eruption
The siege of power marks this revolution!

5. RULE BRITANNIA

Rule Britannia three monkeys up a stick
One fell down and paralysed his
Dickie was a bulldog lying in the grass
Along came a bumblebee and stung him up the
Ask no questions tell no lies
Have you ever seen a copper doing up his
Flies are a nuisance bugs are worse
And that is the end of my little verse.
