1. FALLEN'S BURDEN

Asthross the deposed one was from now on to carry on its only shoulders the fate of its people and his queen.
The latter had entrusted this heavy task to him: it was to close again the gates of the old temple whose opening had entrainé its destruction.
It was on the success of this impossible search, that it should achieve by its own means, that rested the last hope of Ausgoroth and even of the kingdoms neighbourhood.

It was with him that returned this mission, him which had carried out its men to died and who had survived only the carnage of Zath, him which having sunk in the madness had been let misuse by a demon tempter and inconsciement had inconsciement opened the gates from where break still today the abyssal hordes, these even which had put the area at evil in if little time, him still which lived corroded by the remorses, he which did not know any more the rest nor peace interior because it was unceasingly to fight not to more hear the eternal complaints of his/her former brothers in arms died by his fault, him, Asthross the deposed one.

2. FAITHLESS LORD

Asthross did not have the right to let the doubt invade it.
Although conscious that its last erreures were irrevocable, it had costs which its mission costs to fill, this would not be that to agree the right of fien puts at its days.

Without same taking time to organize his forwarding, the former hero took the way of the old temple.
He did not know nor how he would close again the gates either which he did not have an idea of how reaching them, but he advanced.
As it had very lost at the time of the battle of the pits, it did not have aucunes weapons nor aucuns equipment in its possession.
It had Même lost its épe fetish “Rokuss' Thröd” and from now on only its will to want not to fail never again enabled him to advance.
However, inconsciement, Asthross only atendait to cross the road of an enemy suffisament strong to kill it.
It had lost the faith.

3. AS HE FAILS NOW

Such a man was not able to overcome only armies, and Asthross was quickly made capture by men about the obscure ones, practically without fighting.
Nobody offered the release to him which he had hoped for: he always lived.

But in the long term its captivity the intriga.
The obscure ones were delighted to have finally put to him the hand above.
They had so much sought the survivor of the massacre of Zath.
Why? What did they have at the head? It did not understand.

4. ARCHANGEL

Asthross fell asleep.
Its sleep light and was initially agitated, and it réva.
It revived the carnage of Zath and the destruction of the old temple.
Then the succube which had handled it benefitted from its body avnt to declad a poisoned scraping-knife with which it transpierced the rib cage to him.
However at the moment when the steel blade penetrated its pulpits, Asthross fu as téléporté in a universe of white light.
Initially plugging, the luminosity calmed down and the deposed one was only found.
It floated in this universe where it seemed so light, and in its spirit plus nothing did not disturb it.
It was débarassé of its burden and had found peace.
It was in this universe beatific that Asthross met the Erianoeld archangel, who reanimated his faith and appaisa his evils.

With its alarm clock, the deposed one found the sword of the angels planted in the ground vis-a-vis him.
It was this blade formed of the gasoline even of celestial and bright as miles fires which had formerly made it possible old to push back the demons and to seal the gates.
Asthross was convinced by it from now on: it made started from those which one described as elected officials.
With the blood of its ancestors which brulait the veins to him and his powerful sword which innondé it of being able gross, it does not échourait any more.

5. RAISING FURY

The spirit of Asthross flurta with the feeling which it still had a certain importance for foreign eyes, and recovered a suspicion of its confience of formerly.
Whereas the obscure ones took it along towards Zath for it did not know which reason, it let its old force run out and him and were raised.
It had decided to be released.

The fifty men which escorted it did not oppose him a great resistance, and it is by letting its glance wander on their corpses which it realised that it had awaked much more than its old force.
It fell from exhaustion on the ground.
All was clear from now on: if he had survived the artifact of the wizards, if he had been coveted so much, it is because in him the capacity of old sommeillait.
He was their heir.

6. MARCH OF THE LIGHT KNIGHT

Guided by Erianoeld, Asthross advanced to the surroundings of Zath without encumbers.
It been able empécher to contemplate the citadel which was drawn up with far, immaginant its walls to bore breaches and its turns éffondrer.
It would have to so much like to see the stone lord shaking under the blows of its men.

However the hour was not with the daydream.
The elected official of the light moved towards cliffs of the pit and undertook to climb them.
The climbing was long and difficult and the memories of its last defeat enbrasaient its spirit.
Tears incipient from its deep sadness scrambled the sight to him and Asthross was obliged arréter to push back its emotions.
Inconsciement, it transformed its sadness of hatred.
A hatred which would give him a transitory force but which would end early or late up taking it along in the madness if it did not contain it.

Arrived on the desert high plateaus, the hero turned the back on the disastrous fortress to move towards the old temple.
Into little time, the landscape changed face radically.
The simple presence of the abyssal lords in the area sufficed for boulverser balance to its world, and it been able only to note its eyes to which desolation he would condemn his country if he failed: a ground if desiccated that it seemed to want to fold up itself on it even in thousands of faded and cracked petals, of a red blood howling of pain and whose stripes which separated them appeared as deep as the canyons of Zath; a blowing wind permanently charged with a sulfurous dust so fine that it was difficult not to inhale some, and who consequently started to burn your throat and your eyes; the sky was covered with clouds black and threatening, which stagnated in low altitude to exert a indeignable oppression on the area.
This dark mass seemed to reflect the wide immence arride environant desert so that one had the illusion which the luminosity around came from the ground and not from the skies.

Asthross penetrated until deepest as of these hostile grounds.
The evil which reigned in these places made obstacle with the progression of the hero, and the athmosphère only would have been enough to make lose the reason with no matter whom.
At the horizon was not long in taking shape the silhouette of the fortress of the demons.
Then one clearly been able to distinguish it malgrès dusty fog.
It had been batie in a few days only on the ruins of the old temple, so that the gates were to draw up some share in these high and disasters turns of black stones whose crénaux ones were étandaient towards the sky in long hooked claws, overhanging the area to a few hundred meters height.
The walls which surrounded the complex of abyssal rock consisted of an intermingling of bones of all kinds, but which seemed as sharp as the best weapons forged by the Master dwarves.
He floated on the fortress a strong odor of suffers, and the wind carried long complaints in its source: cries of anguish of those which one tortured there by simple pleasure.

7. DAWN OF MADNESS

In the content of the room deep resounded grondement which was only the snigger of the lord of the places.
Asthross was raised and warned whereas the corp king-demon is appeared of a veil of plugging flames.
The elected official had evil with observed the winged silhouette which held up an ignited whip of a hand and an immense sword with worrying will have other.
It was dazzled by this larger mass still than its last adversary, and the fear invaded soon.
This feeling appeared initially foreign to him, then it understood that it trembled in front of the lord abyssal because it frightened it.
The demon laughed in front of the reaction of its adversary.
It knew that a combat would be useless: it had already gained the duel.

The lord of the places proposed a pact with the mortal then.
This last gathered all its forces and fought against its fear to be able to speak, and refused.
It was prèt to be fought and preferred to die rather than to betray its kingdom.
The demon appeared initially astonished then it started to sourir.
It had anticipated the lack of cooperation of sound enemi and had thus taken the necessary measures.
Ceiling descended a broad pentacle from bronze or somebody had been bound.
It was very a beautiful woman who had been exposed.
Arsthross recognized its wife.
The latter was in tear and beseeched her husband to forgive it.
The lord of fire reiterated his proposal while approaching the woman.
She connaitrait thousand sufferings if Asthross refused.
The ex-emperor was plunged in deep a dilème.
He did not have the right to betray his people, but die a expensive being under its eyes wanted to never again let.
The only means of not breaking with aucunes its convictions was to kill the demon.
It knew that it was unable, but it rua on the lord fiélon.
The world disappeared in an explosion from light.

With its alarm clock, Asthross was lengthened on a plain, in a still green grass and fraiche.
At his sides a man with the impressive physique was which had an immense axe at its sides.
When the elected official was raised, the man leaned towards him.
Asthross was lost and asked him what it did there, and the man told him all.
Having benefitted from the luminous explosion to catch the ex-emperor, it had saved the life of last by empéchant it to fight qon adversary and had then escaped thanks to a magic gate.
By this act it had empéché Asthross certainly to sacrifice its life, but especially to save that of his wife.

8. ABYSS'S FORTRESS

The fortress of the demons seemed deserted, and when Asthross approached some its black iron doors opened in one grondissement deafening.
Asthross seemed tiny compared with the vastness and the disproportion of the structures.

When the doors were opened, Asthross studied one moment the interior.
They gave on a sand court which had been pressed by thousands of feet.
On the other side of the court drew up a tower overhanging the entry of the interior fortress.
Asthross advanced until the latter and astonished to see its doors ouvrire in their turn was not war.
It entered a vast dark room on the ground as a dammier and it was necessary for time to him so that its eyes are abituent with the lack of light.

Whereas the darkness finally ceased being a problem, the ex-emperor could observe his host.
It was a high demon as three men who was held upright vis-a-vis him with one sourir not retained, revealing his irregular teeth of sharp hooks.
Its corp seemed to be cut in the granite because of its projecting highly developed muscles under its ebony skin.

The Jura Demon and laughed in its language before attacking Asthross.
This last easily avoided the attack of the demon which, exploiting all its muscular mass for combatre, was of an amusing slowness.
The sword of the angels struck, wounding the demon with the thigh by tearing its pulpit which was consumed in a white flash under the blade.
The demon did not howl of pain, on the contrary, its smile was accentuated.
It attacked again, to obtain the same result.
The play lasted several minutes thus, then Asthross was wearied by it.
It struck a death-blow cold and precise and the demon exploded, projettant the elected official with several putting from there.
The demon had finally succeeded in wounding the ex-emperor.

10. DEMON'S WAR

Asthross could not forgive with this man what it had just done.
It in anger and too much was still too much shocked to have lost the being which it had deeply loved.
However it hardly had time to be caught some with that which had saved the life to him, because opposite them an immense army arrived.
The imposing rescuer rose and maugréa in his beard.
He knew that this army came for them, and that it had to find them thanks to the trâce which had left its gate in the magic fabric.

The skeletons which had attacked the two men had been nearly five hundreds.
It had been tiny room in parts in less than one ten minutes by the axe of the rescuer and the sword of the elected official.
This last put side its resentment to observe the man who had just fought at his sides.
It had abatu about as many enemies as him whereas it had sword angelica and a capacity old, and the bearded one did not show the least sign of tiredness.
Thus Asthross became acquainted with Bardusk.
This last came from a barbarian village which was located in the desert and which had been shaved by the demons.
His/her brothers had fought until death and large numbers of let us fiélons had been cut down.
He had not taken part in the battle because it was occupied seeking food for its village.
While hearing the horns of wars of his brothers it had run to their meeting, but when it arrived at the village it could only note the disaster.
It had then decided to fight and kill as many demons as possible before joining its aïeux in Valhalla.

When Asthross questioned it in connection with its reasons for him for being come in assistance, Bardusk diverted the subject by requiring of him why it had penetrated the enclosure of the fortress of the demons.
The elected official explained his goal and the reasons which pushed it to achieve this quète.
The barbarian did not appear not astonished by the account by Asthross and simply decided to accompany it.

The two heroes turned over to the fortress and penetrated its enclosure again.
It embanked the ones after the others the demons which barred the road to them and arrived at deepest of the basements: ruins of the old temple.
In their heart drew up the gates which they had sought so much.
They formed a traversed complex reason for energy, the gate power station, which was much larger than the others, seemed to be supplied with the other gates which, laid out in pentacle, emitted a dark radiation in its direction.
Asthross and Bardusk had only hardly time to enjoy the beauty malseine of the spectacle which the guard fiélon of the gates made irruption in the part.
This stone demon was much stronger than all the enemies than they had had to overcome until now and the two heroes had to call upon all their forces to face it.
Bardusk entered a rage frantic which was specific to the abused bersekers, and held head with the spectacular demon of way.
However to fight in such a state of rage exhausted it and Asthross was soon only found with being able to face the creature.
It saved Bardusk by boxing a blow which would have to complete it and called upon the capacity of its sword to embank the demon.
A white light spouts out of the blade and Erianoeld appeared to strike of sound morgenstern the stone guard, which did not break under the shock before not becoming any more but dust.
Asthross had arrived to such a control of its weapon which its capacity had permi to him to call upon the archangel.

Erianoeld turned to Asthross and smiles to him, then called upon the capacity of its divinitées to look after the wounds of the two heroes and to reinvigorate them.
It the USA again of magic to probe the places and to discover how the gates functioned.
After interminable research, it found how they could close again them.
Asthross and Barduk followed precisely the instructions of the envoy célèste and the forces which nourissaient the gates ceased soon watering them.
The central gate seemed to crumble on him even before disappearing to leave room only to one invaluable stone of a priceless value.
Erianoeld hastened to reduce this focalisor in dust to seal the gates definitively.
They then hastened to create another gate which would enable them to leave this place to be put in safety, but that did not function.

The Master of the places, who had felt the slight trouble that the closing of the gates had generated had blocked the access to the magic fabric in its fortress.
Furious, it had gone towards the room of the old temple where it had fallen nez-à-nez with its infiltrated enemies.
Erianoeld, conscious of the crushing superiority of the demon, decided to try to contain it to make it possible to the two heroes to flee, but the sword haloed of purple of the abyssal lord sent it to fly against a wall whereas it had tried to avoid the blow with its weapon and it could not be raised immediately.
Bardusk, which had decided since its arrival in these places to kill the lord of the demons or to die by testing rua with its meeting while making whirl its axe.
It boxed an attack of the ignited whip of its adversary which lacerated to him its flesh of the left shoulder to the opposite hip and jumped to strike the demon of all its forces to the torax but the blade penetrated hardly the leather of its adversary, which howls again and let flames run out on its corp.
The flames slightly wounded the barbarian who let the rage seize him.
The counterirritated eyes, he sprang again on the demon but in vain.
This last was well too powerful and the edge of its blade found its way through the leather armour of Bardusk.
The deep wound which the sword of the abyssal lord had created extended along the right side of the barbarian and had crossed the coasts for him to him perforated the lung.
Swearing, Asthross had run to avoid a second fatal blow but it was too late: the eyes of his/her friend had already died out.
The blade of the demon had aspired the life to him while tasting to its blood.

Surprised by the sudden parade of human, the demon does not live to come the attack from Erianoeld which had been raised to leap and strike with the face its adversary.
Its mass was crushed against the nose of the lord of fire which howled of rage before sending a liquid flight of rocks of an abrupt gesture of the hand on the archangel.
The celestial envoy after a fashion boxed the attack and rua to fight at the sides of Asthross, which had benefitted to him from opportunity to launch a blow of tuck.
Its blade had rebounded against the leather of the demon which sent its whip to disarm the elected official.

The superiority of the demon was crushing.
It was malgrès all duty of Erianoeld to fight it, which was not the case for Asthross.
If this last managed to flee, it could join together an army able to overcome this powerful fiélon.
The archangel collected the sword of the angels and launched it towards Asthross while ordering to him to flee.
It charged then the demon to support the retirement of its ally.
Asthross recovered its sword but refused to move.
As the archangel continued to shout to him to leave, making him believe that it had a plan, the elected official ends up accepting and run towards outside.
He did not see Erianoeld falling under the blows from the demon.
She managed to occupy it only little time, before disappearing in a glare from white light.

Asthross had not crossed yet the last door of the enclosure outside of the fortress which the demon had already found it.
Asthross did not have any more the choice: it was to fight.
Bardusk and Erianoeld had died while trying to overcome the lord of the abyssals zone.
He probably did not have any chance to draw some, but little imported to him.
He had achieves his mission by definitively sealing the gates of the old temple, one would not have much any more of time for its queen to give again her power with its people.
Then they pouraient to overcome the demon.

Whereas it fought, Asthross became aware that even only this demon was able to destroy its world.
It understood that it was the only one with being able to make obstacle with the dark intentions of the fiélon.
Even if it were not able to overcome it, it were at least to weaken it to save time.
The fatal blows were exchanged, and Asthross like was submerged by a flood of thoughts, a kind of call of its people to which it was to answer.
The demon was well too strong, even for the queen witch who was weakened too much to face such a power of destruction.

After a combat which seemed to last of the hours, Asthross had little by little enjoys more and more power, which had enabled him to always resist still and the attacks of the demon.
An immense capacity that it did not control not waked up in him, as if all the old ones were linked with its combat to support it.
The lord of fire like the elected official of Ausgoroth were soon with end of force, and all two sprang for a last attack.

A light wind blew over the desert plates of the surroundings of the old temple, and time published to solidify.
Asthross and the demon had just delivered their last blow, and the wind had seemed to be a sigh of relief fétant the end of the combat which had devastated the surroundings.
The demon crumbled on the ground, and Asthross crawled until him to contemplate the creature to return its last breaths of anguish.
By seeing the glance triumphing over Asthross, the demon burst of laughing.
He pronounced words that only the two beings included/understood and smiles again.
Asthross had only time to open wide the eyes, and the body of the demon exploded.

The death of the demon avit devastated the neighbourhoods.
Even the stone black fortress had was swept like a vulgar house of cards.
Asthross had perishes in the disaster, and its sword had been lost, to see destroyed it too.
The wind blew again through dust, light and appaisant, as the last kiss offered by Ausgoroth to its hero who had just sacrificed himself for his people.
Such had been the cost of the success of this search.
