3. PALEST KINGDOM

In the palest kingdom,
A landscape of snow.
Where no life can triumph,
And rivers of ice flow.

Red stains the floor of white,
As the bitter-cold tease the pain.
Blood-red footsteps trail behind me,
I fear my enemies trail the same.

I hear the drums of the enemy,
And the ever infinite footsteps of hoards.
The sound heard before death of fallen brothers,
And the perish of my fallen lords.

Louder now are the footsteps,
The drums of the end beat fast,
I feel myself fading to darkness,
I know in my heart I will not last.

I fall to my knees with loved-ones in my thoughts.
Give me strength to fight in this my darkest hour.

Fathers of old guide me,
To the undying lands,
To the halls of my kings,
Where my kin is waiting.

I feel an unstoppable storm approaching,
There is no future, The path ahead is freezing.
I turn and draw my sword!
One last stand, one last battle, For death and glory
I run as if ten thousand kings run with me.

The next red dawn,
Shall be mine,
I shall sit with those who passed before me,
Till the ending of time.

With a burning fire of rage,
My time of judgement is here,
I run with the heart of a king,
And a man with no fear.


4. BURNING LIGHT

As a cancer on humanity,
Four centuries I have lingered.
Snatching forests tree by tree.

I, the nocturnal shadow,
Servants of the night,
Too long with only time as my companion.

This burning heart in dark silence,
Screaming for the lust of life,
With the moons eve ever watching.

Lke a vulture among the rotten,
Walking through these empty streets,
An empty heart with an empty purpose.

So much life has been taken,
So the dead can keep breeding,
Rivers of blood have flown,
So that I can keep lingering.

Watching ocean flow,
Watching cities grow,
While the mirror speaks of endless tragedies.

Dead inside,
But yet so restless,
Could anything be still listening?

The night sky,
My sanctuary,
From the burning light.

I don't want to be alone, anymore,
Please dawn set me free,
I crave, I crave for the sun.

To see the dawn and all its glory.
To watch the sun, burn away the darkest shadow.
To see the sun, for the first time in four hundred winters,
To feel the sun, consume me.

None of all the beauties of this earth will ever be mine,
For all will start decaying by the vengeance of time,
Although this heart is beating, I know that I am cursed,
For I will never know love, & why it fucking burns.

With all my journeys of this world, still nowhere to call home.
In this goddless savage garden, I always seem to stand-alone.
What good are all these beauties, with no one on my side.
The loneliness is filling me, I just want to fucking die.

I drop to my knees & scream in pain, as the sun starts to rise,
My lust for blood disperses, my flesh starts to set alight.
My weary soul transcends, as my chest starts to burst,
I feel my heart rising, as my body falls to dust.

What is this place I've come to, this tranquilness I feel,
There is beauty in the darkness, which has seen all that in which I've seen.
Nevermore shall I see my beloved moon, but feel no Need to mourn,
For now I stand with angels, in my slowly fading form.


5. THE UNDYING LANDS

I was ripped apart in disbelief.
With wounds that will probably never heal,
As I hear the echoes of your deafening silence.

The sea soaked the fire in your heart,
That spring the winter lingered,
I just wanted you to wake up.

Rest brother,
Rest brother.

Since that day I hate the morning.
Since that morning I sometimes hate myself,
Know brother, I will miss you always,
Thinking of you will always bring a smile to my face.

You had a heart of steel,
And in this heart is where I'll keep you friend.
Whatever battlefields awaited us.
I would have stood with you to whatever end.

I can see you standing there,

A place of unnameless beauty,
Where angels flock the skies,

Where you are waitng.

Memories are not enough to keep me sane,

Until my time here has ended,
I will set sail in a dream Like ocean,
Where on a golden shore, you will be waiting.

One less brother on the battlefield,
One more star to light my way in this hateful night.
