A second war in heaven
Set the fields of love ablaze
Turning brothers against each other

The angelic host devided

Smell the sulfur in the air

The angels care for no one
Not even those who believe
The sweep across the land
They bring death without grief
Holy boundaries are broken
The pearly gates falling down

Choirs of love are silent
As is the father on his throne
Looking passive on his children
His heart is cold as stone

Two seats of desolation
One above and one below
Ethereal light is waning
Souls have no place to go

2. NEVERMORE

I know nothing lasts forever
There is an end to everything
As I gaze over the land
Wondering what death will bring

The final crop is ruined
The earth is winding down

Forrests burned to ashes
Blowing in the wind
Seas have turned to deserts
Like the earth has sinned

I still remember
The day you died
The first one to say this world goodbye

Watch the fires burn

Nevermore the rain will fall
The clouds have shed their tears

They cracked and crumbled

3. ROTTEN

I see the world with madmans' eyes

My anger's adressed to my vicinity

The life without you, seems like another time

I tried to fight, only battles where won

Until I find a way, to destroy your effigy

Feel the might of the sun, burning down on thee

Gathering your strength, to return for all to see

And return you did, with a vengeance
Benign you were, now you're fighting me
You are leading me to the edge of sanity

It's not that I'm giving up, but it's getting harder

6. A TRAGIC END

An autumn breeze that moved the leaves
Whispered lullabies through enchanted trees
Icecold lake like sheets of glass
Shades of fog that cover the grass

Barefoot, shivering, with shaking hands
Mechanically executing her final plans
Her eyes gaze up as she throws the rope
Virginhood gone and so her hope

Death will take what life's been given
Happiness ends in tragedy
Little white neck so brutally riven
Nature sings it's symphony
Lifeless eyes and gruesome past
The rope's been used as remedy
Even the stars won't ever last
Listen to their haunted melody

Majestic tree bent under winter's crown
The girl climbs up, the moon goes down
She grabs the rope with hangmans knot
Twigs break and fall to rot

Memories full with fears of father
He raped and told her not to bother
No-one would believe the chaplains daughter
Company of cross and holy water

Silence is gone as she bursts into tears
Emotions erupting by living with fears
The upcoming sun tells the end of it all
An agonized cry breaks right after the fall


7. RAVEN

When night falls down and hides the mountaintops
The wolves howl their battle cry
We're not afraid to die

Valkyries scavenge the land for restless souls to take
Barren moors and shallow lakes
Clouds obscure the sky

One second of vision when the lightning strikes
A thunder breaks the silent night
We continue to do what's right

And though we miss some brothers
We still fight and carry on
Rushing through kingdoms and castles
Dedication and faith so strong

When arrows pierce the darkened sky
The shields are raised their targets missed
Death of friends reminisced

Clouds weep mistle tears upon the soil
As heaven directs the battle plot
Stray arrows that miss their shot

The time to die is not tonight
The enemy takes a final breath
We claim victory over death
