Vi vaaknet og saa maanen
Delvis dekket av dystre skyer

Det var kaldt og vaatt
Paa vaar ferd inn i riket
Av ufoedte tanker
Endelig kan vi se hva som kalte
For vi fulgte den stemmen in natt...
