Does anyone know the rule for solving logs where there is a negative?

eg. 2-log50+log9

The first thing I did was turn the -2log50 into log(1/50)^2 but thats where I get stuck because Nothing seems to work after that step. My answer should be a log, but I don't know how to do this

I remember having fun once, it was terrible...
