Seasons in The Abyss in my opinon is the best. It sure as Hell was alot better than what Metallica was shitting out during the 90's.

this may seem like the obvious choice but Reign in Blood is my favorite, just listened to that album last night, it's probably THE most influential thrash album of all time, I consider it to have helped jumpstart the Florida Death Metal scene (Malevolent Creation along with Monstrosity have both covered tracks from Reign in Blood)
