 Fifth circle Registered the : 2008-04-07 Messages: 27 | well in fact there is a difference btw being`` alone`` and being ``lonely``. ``alone`` determins the state of not being surrounded by people however ``lonely`` determins The Absence of someone to lean on like a friend,a lover......  as simple as that. | ||

my opinon is.............when i call someone heshe's alone ,then heshe took hisher own choice to be alone coz being alone have its advantages such as most of creative people are alone most of time ,they put limit for their social life so they can reach what are they seeking to (their achievements).... but being lonly when someone feel that heshe unhappy or bored for no reason and restless,even heshe has hisher own activeties and social life , coz they think they cant get long or deal with their activities and their society so they will Search for an alternatives to be alone away from people ,,,, Let The Metal Flag Flow | ||

According to Paul Tillich; loneliness expresses the Pain of being alone and solitude expresses the glory of being alone. In other words; We're ALWAYS alone. Solitude can be a wonderful source of the self-being, and a state of self-discovery through communication with ourselves only... Whereas lonely, Means the lack of communication with the other. And according to Karl Jaspers; "a Self-being is only real in communication with another self-being" So I personally think that alone can be possitive indeed. Yet lonely is always negative. There is a HUGE difference, you can be surrounded by dozens of people and still to be lonely while when you are alone you can and do not have to feel lonely, alone is the description of the situation, while loneliness is the description of Mental situation. За Cвободу и за Честь!!! | ||
