| NME http://www.myspace.com/evilunholydeath One of the best Bands ever. Guitarist Kurt Stuebing killed his while on Drugs, because he think he was a robot and wants to open his mom, to see if she was a robot too!

| The band Hevein. They use a cello and a violin in their work. And the band Resolution15 does not use guitars at all. They use electric violins. And the good thing is that it actually sounds good. These guys are hard to find though.

| I would say Skeletonwitch and Evile, but I think they're pretty popular.
Same with Toxic Holocaust.

| Couple here:
-Slaughter Lord: These guys were actually one of the first Thrash Metal bands to be around in Australia, and while they never recorded a proper full length, their Thrash 'Till Death 86-87 compilation showcases them. The band played a really Brutal and Ruthless style of Thrash Metal - imagine Kreator sometime between their first two albums, but with very early Bathory and Slayer influence and you might have a idea about what this band sounds like. The riffwork on this is absolutely punishing and ferocious, and the songs, while sloppily constructed at times, are actually fairly well done. Drumming is a mix between the classic thrash style and blast-beats, and the vocalist is a dead ringer for Mille Petrozza.
Highly recommended that if you're a Thrash Metal fan that you get this comp... a bit of warning, the production is REALLY rough.
-DBC: this band was a Crossover thrash group from Quebec. Their debut, Dead Brain Cells, features some suprisingly Adept and Vicious Crossover thrash, with the punk-isms in full effect with the tearing riffs, but the band also utilizes a melodic, brooding riffing style that really works as a counterpoint to the blistering album. This is generally pretty fast, although they know how to lay off the gas here and there. Definitely an underrated band.
-Chakal: a monster brazillian thrash Squad, Chakal on their debut took a similar route that Sepultura paved with their Schizophrenia album: a record that is technically Adept, but doesn't lose the Insane viciousness that the Brazillians are so good at. Abominable Anno Domini is a great album, with some outstanding songs that are filled with some absolutely Killer riffs and suprisingly good lead guitar work. The vocalist actually reminds me of Martin Van Drunen during Pestilence's thrash era, and the drumming is very proficient. Just a very well done, heavy as a motherfuck Thrash Metal album... you can Trust the Brazillans to lay Down some frantic material.
