I seemed to have forgotten one:

Sully Erna - Godsmack.

I grew up with Godsmack, and I always like the rough quality of his voice.

citation :
ryan5 says : No. 1.-Mikael Akerfeldt for growls. Who can out perform his deep coherent growls, and his brilliant clean vocals?

-Layne Staley-Alice in Chains
-Clint Boge-The Butterfly Effect
-James Hetfield
-Thomas Lindberg-At The Gates
-Ed Butcher-IKTPQ
-Brendan Small-Dethklok
-Jon Nödtveidt-Dissection
-Burton C. Bell-Fear Factory
-Ivan Moody -Five Finger Death Punch
-Joseph Duplantier-Gojira
-Nikola Sarcevic-Millencolin
-Paul Kuhr-Novembers Doom
-Serj Tankian-SOAD
-Petri Lindroos-(ex Norther)now Ensiferum
-Christian Älvestam-(ex Scar Symmetry)

That was my old crappy list. I do see where enig was coming from when he commented about brendan small, ivan moody and Joseph duplantier (i actually like Duplantier's vocals though).
New list is:
Mikael Akerfeldt (Bloodbath/Opeth) - Amazing vocalist, like Johan from Amon Amarth his vocals are so deep, yet so coherent. That is why i love his vocals and why i think they are the Epitome of Death metal.
Glen Benton (Deicide, Vital Remains) - Words can not describe the amount of Evil Glen exudes from his vocals. Not only are they Evil, but they are so deep and powerful.

"I Wish I had that AR-15 in here, then I could probably get out.....I don't like being locked up, it's not very nice."
