Who's got a throat here?

As for me, I sing (mostly operatic singing) so I normally practise on Symphonic metal songs and also some Power and Speed Metal.

I'd like to learn how to growl too, but it always comes out really weird. I sound like a Dying Animal when I try.

i've done phonetics for 7 years..i'm a soprano

i can't growl cause if i do that my Voice will be destroyed

well i growl good but im better with my heavy voice.
if i dont growl it comes out like Marilyn Mansons Voice

i gotta a decent soundin Brutal Death Metal Voice, sounds kind of Putrid Pile-ish, by BM Voice only sounds good if i got fluids in my lungs, otherwise, it's really hoarse, i need to practice, practice, practice

Practise makes perfect!

Actually, a good growling Voice is hard to obtain. It's as difficult as normal singing, in my opinion.

well i can growl on high level.... also i can sing elvis presley,nick cave,My Dying Bride,The 69 Eyes,Sentenced,Shinedown,Nirvana on high level too... but when it's about screaming or high,soft,femalistic vocals (as gillan,blink 182,plant) i'm suck...
