Here's the situation:

You're talking with your friend and Death Metal gets into the conversation. It just so happens that your friend doesn't listen to metal (not that he doesn't like it, he's just never taken the time to listen to it). Then he asks you that big question: What is death metal? Before you start a verbal explanation, you just Decide to skip that and just SHOW him. You then go to your computer/stereo/whatever and turn on a Death Metal song and say "THAT is death metal". What is the song?


Remember, this is Death Metal, not technical death, melodic death, Deathcore, Brutal death, progressive death, or any other subgenre. I'm talking about PUREBRED DEATH METAL. And also, you can only name ONE SONG, not an album, not a set of songs, ONLY ONE SONG! The benefit of this? to fulfill my curiosity of what songs people would pick.....GO!

Well, I am going to go with the obvious choice of most Death Metal fans and casual Death Metal fans. The One song that is the epitomy of pure Death Metal is Hammer Smashed Face by Cannibal Corpse in my opinion.
